Exiled from Udrad after the public stoning of his parents, Alanor Wynter swore on his parents' graves, to bring the lycan kingdom to its knees. So he became the rogue they despised and the devil they all feared. 

He was a monster, but they had created him, and he was bad. Alanor was the kind of evil that no dictionary even had a description for yet. 

He had vowed against Udrad's peace until he got his revenge, and no one would stop him, not even the mate the fates had forced on him. 

After all, he didn't believe in the fated mates.

"I'm sorry, mother, but I just need an answer," Alanor said as he put down the blade, and pulled Criselda into a hug, before wiping her stray tears. He hated it when she cried. It broke his heart and made him believe that he was hurting the people he cared about.

"I know son, and I'm sorry about this," Criselda said, and before Alanor or their friends could even think of her statement, Criselda created a portal to the central forest, and took with her, the Wynter nine and the barrier Edison was held in at the moment.

When they reached the central forest, Alanor was finally convinced that his mother had lied. He had always believed her and she had lied to him? That was unacceptable. Then again, there had to be a really good reason that this had happened.
