Do What You Must, Quit Worrying

[UDRAD]

Alanor wasn't sure if he could handle seeing his mate in agony and if the mark was going to make that agony less by a fraction, he was more than willing to do it.

However, at the same time, the thought of the prince leading a kingdom without a mate, the prince hoping for him, waiting for him for so many years, or even the things Alanor would probably be doing, didn't sit right with him.

That was too much to pin on his mate.

Once he was done with Edison, Alanor wasn't sure where she was foreign to. Probably the human lands with the vigilantes, but damn, he had never thought that there would come a day when someone would want him for who he was.

That was basically what Unar was saying and frankly, Alanor was even more confused.

"How long have you been thinking about this?" Alanor asked delicately, gently pulling the prince from his neck so that he and Unar would be staring at each other.
