"No. That isn't your choice to make," a voice in the rain said and for a moment, the young Wynter was sure he was hallucinating again. So much had happened and with the rain hitting them like there was no longer a future for them, Alanor couldn't put it past him.

'Maybe I'm hallucinating, maybe all of this will end eventually, maybe none of this would be worth it in the end, yeah?' Alanor said to himself like it was supposed to make the night skies even brighter, but then what else could he do?

He had given up and the plan of a month that he had, he didn't need it anymore.

Aida was right, they had spent so many years looking for people who didn't care about them, people who had chosen to hide, people who had probably spent their lives doing well.
