The Beautiful Black Rose [2]

[UNAR]

[Still Several Years Ago]

** [Unar's perspective in first person… third person pov kinda didn't fit here]

From the way he had run, I knew he would try his best to convince me and more than anything himself that he wasn't mated to the king who hated warlocks. I don't know what the high priestess had told him but I didn't care.

I was selfish but that was okay.

Only because of him, my dominant Al.

My devastation increased even more, when the beast of the Midlands made a show, growling and scaring the people back home. That beast was horrifying, and I was sure if I was close to him, I wouldn't have been able to hold my fort.

Then again, I should have been scared, given his growl was louder than the king's growl. It was the growl that rippled through the midlands like chaos, but even then, it pulled me closer, called to me, like a drug I needed.
