"Hi, baby," Unar greeted when the silence got deafening. He could see the shock on Alanor's face and he wanted to kiss it away, but then at the same time, he wasn't sure if it was a good idea, given the young Wynter looked like he was seeing a ghost.

"You're real?" Alanor whispered defeatedly like he was clinging onto the hope that his mate was actually real this time. He had been missing Unar so much so that his lycan had been creating hallucinations about Unar for him.

It was a wild way to cope, but then the young Wynter's lycan knew that it was either a hallucination, or the king of Udrad would lose his mind, and that didn't exactly seem like a good idea at the moment.

"Why don't you come to check for yourself?" Unar said softly, when he noticed his first movement by Alanor since their friends had left for the Wynter house.
