Chapter 2: The Pink Rose
Around the same time during The Kahana Village Civil War.
A girl who is on the other side of Kahana Village also experience civil war in her village and the war changed her life completely. Once a joyful and happy life now turned into a life of suffering and destruction.
This girl once lived with her parents, but sadly during the war, her parents tragically died sacrificing their life to save their daughter from an incoming attack of a soldier. The girl, saddened by the death of her parents, falls to her knees, sobbing softly. Her friends ran away to find a place to get away from the war; the girl is left alone and sad.
The girl continues to sob while mourning the loss of her parent. Nearly got herself killed by a soldier, luckily she was saved when a mysterious man blocks the oncoming attack with his sword. The girl sees that the mysterious man is also holding a spear in his other hand; the man turns and said to the girl,
"Little girl, run away now!" said the man.
She trembled in fear when the man shouts at her, but then the man said to her loudly,
"RUN AWAY NOW LITTLE GIRL, THIS PLACE ISN'T SAVE FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU, HERE TAKE MY SPEAR AND RUN!" said the man.
She took his spear and ran away quickly from her village. She ran towards the hills nearby and while climbing up. She found some bushes, and she hid in the bushes until the war ends. For now, she must stay in the mountains while hiding in the bushes.
While on the mountain. A young woman with dark green hair comes out from her home when she hears crying from outside of her house. She notices that the crying came from the bushes nearby; she slowly walked towards the bushes and peeked inside. She is surprised to find a little girl crying inside the bushes; when she sees the little girl crying, she said,
"How did you get here? You poor child, come on, let's get inside," said the women.
The women also see the girl holding a spear in her hand; she stops and questions herself for a moment,
"How can this girl be able to hold that spear; it's too big for her size," muttered the women.
She took the spear and carried the little girl into her house and nursed her back to health. A year had passed, and The Civil War of The Kahana Village is over.
After the civil war is over, the little girl does training with the young woman, and the young woman became her teacher. She teaches her many things to her, and she taught; the little girl how to use the spear she kept a year prior, and after three years have passed, the girl drastically change.
She has grown into a beautiful girl and also becomes a skilled spearsman. Even though she always does training sessions with her teacher. She's still saddened because of the loss of her parents and friends during the civil war.
While chatting with her teacher, the girl asks,
"Sensei...why do we must have conflicts and war on this world," said the girl with sadness on her face.
"I know how you feel, little girl. But you know, humans are intelligent creatures, and the reason why wars and conflicts started is by a simple argument or a disagreement. And after that, fights or war are created."
"That's just how the world works. We can't change what mistake you or others make. There is peace, but there will always be a conflict right around the corner," said the girl's teacher.
After she hears her teacher's answer, she began to understand, and thanks to her teacher, and it looks like these conversations they had will be their last. They began to depart ways and haven't seen each other since then.
Eight Years Later; Present Day
The girl now has grown into a beautiful woman; continues catching some fish for dinner at a nearby lake while humming to herself. In the middle of catching fish, she hears some noises in the grass fields. And when she turned to look, she sees a man dawning a dark and orange gi, has spikey blue hair, and carries a sword behind his back.
The man notices the girl looking directly at him. And the two locked eyes for what seemed like hours, suddenly out of nowhere, wild boar charges toward to girl, and an event happened which changes her life for the better.
