Chapter thirteen- Helena

I woke in my bed my mother beside me. She dabbed my head with a damp cloth. " Good morning sunshine". She said lovingly. She called for the boys to tell them I was awake and all entered.

I had missed them. No denying that. I did have some shock as I saw Ash. He smiled warmly and explained.

" When I saw you on the ground I couldn't stop myself. Your brothers had the same Idea and I threw my brother off you, and your brothers held him down... I'm sorry Helena... I wanted to say that before I turned myself in. No doubt I'll see my brother with me there. I'm happy your okay, and I was blinded by hate. Forgive me please..."

I looked at my brothers who's faces were mixed with emotion. " I cannot forgive you now, but after your sentence of three years for kidnapping come visit me. Only then can we restart."

He nodded and left. Not soon after I was surrounded by hugs from my family. My mother was better than I had ever expected. Her cooking was even better than any of my brothers. The light from her smile filled our house.

She gave me hugs and talked to me about nature. I even was able to go on missions. I went with Haru to England. I had never thought people could be so fancy. The job pushed me to my very best and helped me feel the rush.

I thought of myself as justifying. After our mission, we got paid in strange money which Haru and I used to buy food.

I had never felt so alive. I had never felt so whole. Some nights I would come home, and as my family greeted me my heart would flutter. I met so many new people of all different types. Saw different places words could not describe.

I connected to my brothers and finally saw my parent's room. The letter from my mom laid on a dresser and the walls were pained sky blue. My mother's drawings littered the room. I stared at it in awe the first time I saw it.

Every day after I wore a smile.
