I bit my lip and stared straight into the sky. It was a Saturday in June the breeze was hitting just right. It was perfect. My legs hung over the pine tree branch watching the clouds blow by through the sky. My heart pounded like drumming against my chest waiting for My brother's return. My family was special in a weird kind of way... We were assassins masters of weapons.

All except me. I was the youngest of the HamishI family, and five older brothers prized possession. I see Jaren's head poke into the forest clearing, his short black hair whipped by the wind. His eyes connect to mine and I smile waving. "Brother, Jaren, look! I climbed up here all by myself"! He steps into the light and rests his hands crossed against his chest. A small chuckle escapes his lips. "Get down monkey before you break your neck". A small smirk pulls at my lips. "Okayyy".

I jump my hair flowing I feel gravity pulling my body to the Earth rapidly. I throw my hand up griping one of the rugged branches. my body swings around it until I sit only a meter off the ground. A giggle escapes my lips when I see my brother's face. His eyes were wide and his skin pale.

" Did I scare the all-mighty eldest brother of the HamishI family and elite assassin"? He snaps out of it quickly. " No, you most certainly didn't just get down from there". He sternly ordered. I hoped down onto the dry dirt kicking up dust as my feet hit the ground.

Jaren grips my wrist in a gentle but firm grasp. Leading me back to the house slowly. "You're such a trouble-maker Helena", He speaks. "Well, what else am I suppose to do you guys won't let me be like you-" He cuts me off short with a glare, his green eyes boring into mine. "No". His voice holds authority and seriousness. Do dare to say anything against his word? My mind yells "no!" but I purse my lips and utter lowly, "why?"

" You know why..." He eases up but still serious. Our mother... I lower my head. "Okay".
