Chapter 10

Suzy woke up to an empty bed, she looked for Anthony but didn't see him. Tried calling but no answer. She reluctantly stepped out of bed, prepared for work and left. She stepped into the office and saw roses on her table and a note attached to it.

" To the most beautiful woman, hope you have a nice day"

It read. she smiled and then brought a glass jar, poured water in it and then placed the flower in it. An hour later Anthony walked in and went straight to his table.

" Suzy, please get me coffee"

" Okay sir"

Suzy stepped out and after five minute she came back with a cup of coffee

" Here,I wanted to say thank you for the flowers"

" I never sent you any flowers, am sure it's one of your admirers. Besides your pretty so am sure you get that a lot."

" Oh, thank you then. Please excuse me"

With that Suzy left the office and went to the secretary office and asked about the flowers but she still didn't get any answer. Seeing that it was futile Suzy went back to her work station and saw that Anthony had left already.

She got home and saw Anthony in the sitting room

" Good evening, you didn't tell me that you were going, I was looking for you I thou..."

" Can you keep quit am on a call with my mum"

He said with a deadly glare. Before she could reply he left her and went to his library.

In a perplexed state she looked at the direction Anthony went through and was annoyed. Yesterday they were all over themselves and now he is just doing like as if nothing happened. Her train of thought was disrupted by a call, she looked at it and saw it was Josh, with a faint of annoyance she answered the call

" Look am not in a good mood so please leave me alone "

" Sorry for disturbing you, I just wanted to ask if you saw the flowers I sent this morning?"

" It was you?, look haven't I told you I don't want to have anything to do with you. Leave me alone and never call this number again" she said with finality and ended the call.

Anthony was in his study when he heard a knock on his door, a quite come in was heard and a man in black came in

" Good evening boss, I was able to gather some information on the photos you sent to me. It turns out that the people that killed her parents are from us. I think there is a double ganger of you. The person tend to have the same features as you and gave orders that Suzy's parents be killed"

" I have a double ganger, how?"

" I don't know, but these are the photos I got of him" he said as he dropped the photos on the table.

" You may leave"

Anthony took the photos and looked at them, he smiled a dark smile and called his mum.

" Hey baby, why did you call?"

" Do I have a twin brother?"

" Who told you that, your the only child…"

" I'll ask again, do I have a twin brother" this time around his mum knew there was no way for her to escape.

" I'll be at your house when I finish at the salon" with that she ended the call. An hour later, Suzy came in with a photo of Anthony's double ganger

" Mind explaining why you were stalking my house before my parents died"

" I wasn't the on…"

" Yeah, sure it wasn't you then who was it?, because what am seeing is you and not someone else"

" Suzy, am also trying to understand because am surprised also, I called my mum so that she can explain. please Suzy just calm down when my mum comes she'll explain every…"

" Was this all a plan to make me come here and stay here or you just wanted to use me. which is it"

" Please, I know the way I've been acting earlier today was not good but don't think I'm the one that killed your parents, I promise when everything is cleared up I'll tell you, but please just go upstairs I'll talk to you later"

At that a knock was heard,

" Go upstairs please, am sure is my mum"

" No am not, she can come in, I want answers"

Anthony went to open the door and saw his mum and Gabrielle

" Why did you bring her?"

" So that you can get along"

" Anthon love" Gabrielle said as she stepped in and wanted to hug him but he side stepped her

" Come in mum, you have a lot to explain" Anthony said as he closed the door.

" who is she" Gabrielle said with a snare

" That is Suzy, my friend "

" Oh, nice to meet you am Gabrielle, Anthony's girlfriend "

" I can't say the same, and besides Anthony never said he had a girlfriend, so am guessing your just some bimbo that is looking for where to sink her fangs"

" Don't talk to my daughter in law like that you slut, who knows where Anthony picked you from"

" Well for your information, Mrs…"

" Mrs Grey"

" No wonder your grey, as I was saying am the daughter of Mr Night, the man that was killed three month ago. I don't know if that rings a bell in your head but I want answers and now." Suzy said as she pulled Mrs Grey down on the chair.

Anthony was well surprised and turned on, who won't want a woman that is this feisty.

Gabrielle was angry, she could see how Anthony adored Suzy and then she tried calling his attention

" Babe can you please help me with a cup of water"

" It's Anthony, am not your babe and I will never be your babe. And there is a cup of water beside you. if you don't have anything to say you can leave"

" What of her?" she said pointing to Suzy

" That is the daughter of the man that was killed three month ago so she has the right to be here. if that's all you may leave"

" Don't talk rudely to her, she can stay "

" So mum, explain this please, am confused please "

" That is Nathan, your twin brother "

" Why don't I recall him"

" You were both young when it happened, we were once attacked and your brother was carried away. we searched for him but we couldn't get any lead, even if we did before we could get there he was moved and one day we were given a box with a dead body in it. The note said this are the remains of your son. That day I wasn't myself any more I cried and almost went into depression. but I had you so I had to be strong. Am sorry I didn't tell you, I thought he was dead am sorry"

" It's okay, now we know we have to find a way to stop him, and I'll try my best to do it. Suzy please prepare something let's eat"

" Let me do it, you'll love my food"

At that Gabrielle went to the kitchen after forty five minute she came out with some plates and set the table everyone ate and Mrs Grey praised her like she does

" Anthony don't you like it?"

" It's nice but not as sweet as Suzy's food."

Gabrielle looked at Suzy with a deadly glare but seeing it was not moving her she settled for a fake smile

" So what do we do now" Suzy asked as she stood up and cleared the table

" I'll call my men to do some investigation on him, as of now mum and Gabrielle can go home, we'll talk tomorrow" He said as he opened the door for them

" What of Suzy"

" She stays here, see you later bye" he said as he closed the door and went to Suzy

" So we'll talk tomorrow, good night." he said as he went to his room

Tomorrow is when we plan everything.
