Chapter 13

Cordelia walked her way down the street with the biggest smile she's ever smiled. In her hand was a plastic bag. The bag had a positive pregnancy test resting inside, waiting to be shown to her love.

She had just found out she was pregnant with her lover, Jay's baby while she was waiting at home to see if she was pregnant or not.

Her new white sundress flowed through the wind as she passed loving couples on the sidewalk. Shopkeepers waved to her and she waves back. She talked to a few friends and minors she had passed as well until she turned down Jayson's Street.

Once she got to his house, she looked at the closed shades in the window, and the pink car in the driveway behind his.

She wrapped her hand around the doorknob. Turning it to open the usually locked door, almost like he forgot to lock it. Pushing open the door to the quiet house. The lights were off yet the furniture was intact, with no signs of intruders or anything.

She stepped in and gently closed the door behind her. She looked at the stage scene in the kitchen.

A chair pushed out with haste and a half-empty cup of coffee at 10 at night, none the less. As if he was waiting for someone or had an unexpected visitor.

She crept into the living room where a pair of heels laid. Cordelia doesn't like heels, however...

There were handprints on the table too.

She stalked her way down the hallway, past the empty bathroom, and over to Jay's room which was closed. There's were muffled sounds coking through the door. Cordelia put her ear to the door and listened in, she trusted her boyfriend but this whole scene was so strange.

"Faster Jay! Ah!" She heard the muffled moan of her best friend, Lyla Paran

"Do you like that baby?" Jay grunted.

Cordelia quickly opened the unlocked door. She was met with the sight of the love of her life naked, thrusting into the lower naked half of her best friend. Her heart shattered at the sight of the people she trusted.

Jay and Lyla froze in their spot and looked at the open door where Cordelia stood with tears rushing down her face, staining her white dress.

"WHAT THE HELL!" Her anger swarmed her like the plague.

"Hey baby" Jay tsk'd as he thrust into Lyla again.

"I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME ASSHOLE!" Cordelia cried

Jay stood from the body of her ex-friend and looked at the crying mess of a girl in the corner of his room.

"Sorry baby, but you were just a toy for me." He snickered at her.

The bag scrunched up in her hand. Her face tear-filled and flushed face. Lyla stood from her spot and got dressed in her see-through clothes.

"I should go now, see ya around baby" She licked his Che and walked out of the room, giving Cordelia a smirk.

She walked up to her betraying lover. She raised her hand to the air, swinging it down to his cheek, causing his head to turn to the side.

"I hate you, Jayson! I will never forgive you!" Cordelia screamed at him before running out of his house.

She ran down the street as fast as she could carry herself. She passed an older woman who worried about Cordelia.

Cordelia stopped hesitantly at the end of the sidewalk. No cars passed only a few buses making their last round. The clicking of heels sparked her anxiety passed the very limit. She turned swiftly and was met with her blonde hair and brown eyes.

"Hey whore" She cackled

"I'm the whore? You have to be fucking kidding me!" Cordelia yelled

"You're gonna regret that you bitch!" She rushed at Cordelia, ready for the kill. She couldn't move. She was paralyzed with fear and confusion. Before Cordelia had a chance to move, Lyla pushed her into the street.

Cordelia fell off the curb but before she could hit the ground, she watched the bus driving by. Looked up at her, but she only stared with a smile as the bus collided agonizingly with her body.
