Axle's POV
Ahsoka and I are on our personal ship at lightspeed. We haven't thought of anything else then that vision. We see it every time we close our eyes. The sharp, but quick pain in the back of our heads. I felt the cold floor against my face, then everything went dark. One voice echoed in the distance, "I would never let anyone hurt you. Never." It was Anakin.
Ahsoka's POV
Tears fell from my face. We didn't speak a word. Axle and I would have been executed for something we didn't do. It wasn't just Barriss who betrayed us. Everyone we ever knew turned against us. I could still feel the blaster against my head. Anakin's face stayed in my mind. He was horrified. More so than anything else. Axle sensed my thoughts. He nods at me. We were killed in cold blood so if we ever find survivors that betrayed us, we will kill them in cold blood too.
We came out of lightspeed at Tannab. Axle has been here before. He said that Ellisia led him to find ancient artifacts and studies. Someone named Eno Cordova was the person who first found them. There was another reason why we're here. We've heard that a Jedi a few years ago was on Cordova's trail. We don't know who, but we did hear he defeated several Inquisitors.
Axle's POV
I have no idea who this Jedi is, but if he is able to take out Inquisitors he must be powerful. We landed on the planet and walked down the ramp. The spaceports and cities were very large. They've grown rapidly since the purge. The artifacts I've discovered pointed at clues about an ancient civilization. I wonder if this other Jedi knows anything about Cordova's work.
We kept our cloaks on and walked through the streets. They were fairly packed with people. I led Ahsoka to the old building where I found Cordova's discoveries. We walked in, but there were stormtroopers everywhere. "You there, halt! Identifications!" One of them ordered. I rolled my eyes and held up my hand, "All of you will go for a long walk far away." "All of us will go for a long walk far away." The trooper repeated. They all walked out of the building. "I love that trick." I whispered. Ahsoka smirked at me.
We found many scrolls and writings Cordova wrote. The ancient civilizations were strong with the force. It seemed like they were almost like Gods. I remembered seeing some of these writings, but others I do not.
"YOU THERE, STOP!!!" I heard from outside of the building. Ahsoka and I spun around, but the troopers weren't talking to us. We heard blaster fire and then a few quiet screams. Footsteps came closer. Ahsoka and I slowly grasped our sabers. A young man around Kanan's age walked in. He had red red hair and a little droid on his back. He too held his saber tightly, "Who are you?" Ahsoka and I looked at each other, "Survivors." I answered. Ahsoka and I put our sabers back on our belts. The other Jedi did the same, "Why are you here?" I grabbed one of the scrolls, "I've been here. Before the purge. A Jedi Master Named..." "Eno Cordova?" The Jedi finished my sentence. I nodded, "What's your name?" The Jedi looked at his droid then back to us, "Cal. Cal Kestis. Jedi Knight. This is BD-1. What's yours?" I put my hand around Ahsoka, "I'm Axle Tinguard. Gray Jedi Master." "I'm Ahsoka Tano, Gray Jedi." Ahsoka answered. Cal seemed surprised, "Hey, I know you two. You were wrongfully accused of treason. A year later you became heroes of Mandalore. I was only 13 when your trial took place. I am so sorry for all that pain." Ahsoka smiled, "No need for an apology, but thank you." Cal nodded, "So, you're here for Cordova's information too?" I smiled, "Not exactly. We are here because of you. The Emperor has been informed of your whereabouts. That puts you in an incredible amount of danger." "We can't talk here. Let's go somewhere secret." We nodded and walked out.
Around seventy stormtroopers were waiting for us along with a few AT-ST's. "HANDS UP AND GET ON YOUR KNEES!!!" The Commander ordered. Ahsoka and I looked at each other in shock. Several Star Destroyers hovered overhead and sent more shuttles down with reinforcements. I thought Ahsoka and I would never have to face those words. Get on your knees. There were too many to put up a fight. I held Ahsoka's hand tightly. "I SAID GET ON YOUR KNEES!!!" The Commander screamed again. With hesitation we slowly lowered to the ground. Troopers came up behind us and took our sabers. I felt the blaster against my head. I looked at Ahsoka and she stared back. Tears streaming down her face. I saw a blaster press the back of her head. I then looked at the Commander. He nodded at the troopers. No. This vision will not come true. I quickly spun around and force pushed the troopers into the wall. I force pulled our sabers and gave Ahsoka hers. Cal started slicing the bucketheads. Ahsoka and I stayed together taking on nearly impossible odds. Out of nowhere, a blue blade came crashing through the Imperials. A hooded figure appeared and cut down the threats.
The four of us used every ounce of our strength to get out of there alive. I blasted force lightning and force light shock waves and even blasted kamikaze all around. The troopers just kept coming. "I will take you to your ship." The hooded figure said. I recognized that voice. Why do I recognize that voice? We ran towards our spaceport. We jumped onto our ship with Cal and the other mysterious Jedi in tow. We blasted out of the port.
Tie fighters opened fire on us as well as the Star Destroyers. Good thing I was trained by Anakin or else we would have died. Then again he crashed almost every time he flew so the odds aren't exactly in our favor.
Another ship flew next to us. Cal smiled, "Don't worry. Those are my friends." I nodded and followed them through all the hell that rained down on us. We made it into space. Ahsoka made the calculations to lightspeed and we jumped. A transmission came through. Cal answered it, "Cere, Greeze, Thanks for the save." A voice answered, "I'm guessing you didn't get any of Cordova's work?" Cal hesitated, "Sadly no. I did find three other purge survivors." "Yes, I know who they are. We'll meet you at the rondevu." The voice answered and the transmission ended.
Ahsoka's POV
I turned to the hooded figure, "Who are you and why did you help us?" The figure hesitated, "Because I needed to fix the biggest mistake I've made." I was confused, "What do you mean?" The figure removed her hood and I almost collapsed from shock, "B...B...Barriss?"
