Ezra's POV
Three years have gone bye since Axle and Ahsoka gave their lives. Their statue still overlooks the base giving us hope. I walked over to the giant carved rock. It was surrounded by flowers and holo-pics of them. I knelt down in front of the statue and closed my eyes, "Axle, Ahsoka, I've been promoted to Lieutenant Commander. I've used Kanan's training and yours as well. I hope you're proud of me. After what happened, I feel empty. I can only imagen how Kanan feels. He normally stays away from everyone now. It hurts to wake up every day knowing you are both gone. I'm the one to blame. If I hadn't listened to Maul, you two would still be here. I'm so sorry. I will continue to make this right. You have been betrayed by so many. I feel like I have joined the ones who have failed you. I will make sure that no one will ever let you down again. I promise." I walked away and back towards the group to get ready for my first mission as Lieutenant Commander.

Chase's POV
I stood aboard the Predator in Axle and Ahsoka's quarters. This room has become another memorial besides their statue. I sat on their bed and held a holo-pic. I found it in Axle's encrypted files. Axle held Ahsoka up in the air as they kissed. The picture was encrypted because they didn't want the Jedi or Republic to know about their relationship. That didn't matter anymore because there is no Jedi or Republic anymore. Everyone knew how much they loved each other and how much they would do to support their friends. I swiped to another pick with Axle and Ahsoka holding each other with the boys from the 332nd and the 338th standing behind them. I first met them on Christophsis. They were just young teenagers with no experience. Now, Ahsoka became a high ranking Commander and Gray Jedi Knight. Axle became one of the few and most trusted Generals in the Alliance. He also became a Gray Jedi Master. Those kids fought for what they have believed in. They led us into battle and we followed because we believed in them. They did not disappoint and have gained the respect of everyone in the galaxy. Even the Empire. I can't say goodbye to my best friends I've known almost my entire life. I felt a small tear slipping down my face. The door opened and Glock walked in, "Sir, Captain Syndulla has requested you to accompany her and the Ghost crew to Geonosis." I nodded, "Tell them I'll be there shortly." Glock turned to leave, "Yes, General Chase."

Kanan's POV
The three years have been rough. I want to cry and let my emotions out, but I can't. Maul took my sight and damaged any way of letting my tears out. It burns when I try to cry. The mask that covers my eyes blocked the sun from hurting even more. My connection to the force has grown though. Without my sight, I can focus more on the force. There are less distractions. Axle taught me how to always find a solution. I wish he was here to give me more advice. We were given a chance to defeat the Sith, but we failed and lost two of my closest friends. My older brother and sister are dead and can't help me.
I asked Chase to bring me Axle's Jedi and Sith holocron so I might find answers there. He placed them in front of me, then walked out of my room. Maul and Ezra once connected the two holocrons together to find answers. That destroyed the holocrons in the process. I will not let that happen to Axle's most important possessions. I opened the Jedi holocron with ease. I held the Sith holocron in my hand. I hesitated. If I use the dark side, I could be pulled too far. I was too desperate to think about it any further. I thought about Vader killing my friends. I thought about all that the Empire has done to my family. The holocron slowly opened. I connected them both together and opened my eyes. I was in a white room. I could see. "Hello." A voice said. I turned around to see a glowing figure. She gave a smile, "I've been waiting for you, Black Wolf."
