Chapter: 2 A strange encounter

Human realm:( Daniel's POV)

As the girl fainted when she was in my arms I decided to lay her down in her bedroom. As I held her in my arms like an infant, her chest pressed against my own. I could hear the rhythm of her beating heart, it was a melody.

I gently laid her down and sat on the corner of her bed, deep in thought. After several minutes she awoke and sat up straight, she asked me questions to which I had the answers but didn't know how to explain them.

As she calmed down, she came to where I was sitting, my hands covering my face; my eyes were not meant to be seen by her. But to my surprise, she kneeled before me, and took my wrists in her hands, pulling them gently away.

Her touch was so gentle and feather-like. Finally, she removed my hands, exposing my face to herself. As she asked the same questions again staring into my eyes, she became weak and was about to fall when she gripped my arms helping herself up, fighting against the magic that was meant to put her to sleep, but unexpectedly that magic wasn't enough to suppress her need for answers.

As our eyes had been in contact, my blood rushed through my body, my heart beating faster than ever, I noticed how well-designed her face was. She had eyes like the ever-so-blue sky, in which her emotions shone like shooting stars. Her face was bright as the moon, now her cheeks were pinker than before.

She had lips like the blood that rushed through my veins. And she had hair just like the great warrior angel, her mother. That shiny blonde hair looked like it had been woven from the brightest lantern in the skies, on a festive night. She was so perfect that words alone could not describe her beauty.

As I pitied her for having such a shattering destiny, I spoke:" Fate is cruel isn't it?" Her expressions changed to confusion.

For now, the best action would be to put her to sleep. As I gently tapped one of my fingers against her forehead, gifting her peace for a few hours. I picked her up, for me, she was no more than a delicate feather and laid her back on her bed this time I chose to erase her blurry memories of myself. I placed a hand on her forehead, murmuring a spell quietly.

Afterward, she wouldn't remember that I even existed.
