Passing Through the Bay, III

It didn't take long for the reporters of Oyster Bay to start flooding the streets. Like the other citizens, they too were previously trapped in their homes, hoping for the best during the Hellfire Arm crisis as well as the events of Bright's crimson.

Those times were a literal war for them, in their eyes, something that they didn't dare take a single step in, but as soon as those times were ended by Valefar, they came out from their residences like bulls on a parade.

Their chattering wasn't any different.

The Millfield Bank was crawled with various other police officers, many of which unknown to Valefar by the time their faces stared at him as if they knew him.

Maybe they did, like Burrows, like every cop who was aware of his presence in Oyster Bay. Perhaps Oyster Bay wasn't any different from the next city, from Morissey or Harbour City even.
