Crashing the Party

Ahsoka's POV

I couldn't believe it. Axle in Steeler's clothes stood in front of me. His green emerald blades glistened in the room. Glass was all over the floor. The Cultist stood there shocked. His blaster was still against my head. "How you doin?" Axle said with a smirk. "How?" The Cultist asked. Axle laughed, "When you pulled that trigger you forgot one very important thing. I'm the God Damn Grey Wolf." He force pulled the blaster out of his hand and jumped between us. "A...A....Axle? Your....You...Your alive?" I barley was able to get out. He looked back at me, "I'm as surprised as you." The Cultist chuckled, "Foolish child. The bombs will set off if you touch me." I rolled my eyes, "You mean the bombs I had deactivated by the Republic bomb squad?" The Cultist's smirk faded.

Clones started pouring into the Senate chambers. Anakin got up from his constant electric barrage. Chase came over Axle's comms, "Commander, we've caught the Dreadnought by surprise. It's in full retreat, but we've contacted reinforcements and they should be here before that energy weapon comes online again." Axle smiled, "Great work boys." The Cultist raised his hands and surrendered.

Axle came over to me and knelt down to cut the restraints. I looked into his eyes as he stared back. "I saw you die." I whispered. He brushed my cheek, "I did. But, I had a little help from The Daughter." I closed my eyes at the touch of his hand. A small tear dripped down. Axle looked around to see if anyone was looking. He quickly kissed me. I smiled through more tears, "So, you were Steeler?" He smiled back, "Yea." I brought him into a hug, "I'm so sorry I said all that stuff." He held me tighter, "At least I know you won't leave me." We both laughed hard.

We both walked out of the Senate building and met up with the Jedi council. "Padawan Tinguard, we are so happy to see you safe." Master Fisto replied. Master Windu walked up and put a hand on his shoulder, "I'm glad to have you back my apprentice." Axle nodded. "How exactly did you survive?" Master Mundi asked. Axle faced Master Skywalker and Master Kenobi, "I guess I can thank The Father and Daughter. The next thing I saw after the blast was Mortis. Then I appeared in a weird place surrounded by stars. It was some kind of...World between Worlds." I then remembered what the Cultist said about working with a Jedi, "Masters if I may interrupt, the Cultist said that he was tasked with killing Axle by a Jedi. he didn't say who."

Rex ran over to us, "GENERALS, THE PRISONER HAS JUST COMMITED SUICIDE!!!" Somehow that doesn't seem surprising.
