The Party

His mixed signals were driving me insane; I was between leaving and falling deep into his mesmerizing gaze. One minute he cared and knew stuff about me and the other times he despised me to the bone. I did not want to create a scene between us and spoil the fun. I came here to have a great time and Dorian was not going to change this. He stared at me so hard that I felt uncomfortable as I stood there.

“What is that on your neck?”

He questioned me like we were still together or as to how a parent would if they saw their teenager with a red mark on the neck.

“I can’t do this right now.”

I rushed off from his sight and I made my way to the opened bar hoping they would all leave me alone.

“You shouldn't D, letting go was the easiest thing for you!” Jess implied as he sips on his drink.

“You told me not to fight.”

“Do you always listen to me?” “What would make you happy?”

“I am happy.”

“I believe you did what they expected you to do.”
