Who?

You woke up feeling like shit. Yet, the bed you laid in felt rather comfortable today. You felt like you could lay in bed for ever.

Wait a minute; when did your bed get so comfortable? You'd end up in horrible pain in your back if it were your bed.

Upon realising this wasn't your bed, you shot up from your comfortable position.

Not even second later, you noticed Blackout sitting beside you.

“Oh? Finally decided to get up?” he asked.

You nodded as he stood up from the bed.

Blackout looked even better than you thought now that you were able to see him without a mask. He had flawless skin and hair that put Rapunzel's to shame.

“Of course I look amazing, dear hero. I do like to take care of myself. I don't intend to have a reputation as the most ugly mastermind,” he said, flipping his hair back to add to his statement.

“Now then, I shall leave you to do your things. I shall send someone over to help you get to the dining hall,” he announced before leaving the room.

With the e-boy reject finally out of the room, you realised how the room looked like: It was fit for a royal.

The room was decorated in all black, probably to fit his theme. There was a mirror beside the bed and a drawer on both sides of the bed. The chandelier on top was gorgeous and also black in colour. There was a mirror behind the head of the bed.

Getting up from the bed, you glanced outside to be meet with a dome of black.

Deciding not to question it more, you headed towards the bathroom.

Closing the door behind you, you walked over to the sink. Even the bathroom was quite luxurious.

Taking a glimpse of yourself in the mirror, you cringed. Your face was covered in grime and the dark circles under your eyes made you look more like a mad scientist than a hero.

Stepping out of the bathroom, you opened the door that led to the hallway. As soon as you stepped out, you were met with a girl that looked around your age — if not younger.

She introduced herself as Mira and led you down the hallway towards the dining hall.

The dining room looked like something straight out of a gothic castle. Black walls on all sides and a long table set in the middle of the room.

"Have a seat, hero. I'm sure your hungry," Blackout said, making you slide unto one of the many chairs. You sat as far away from him as possible.

Eating your breakfast you glanced at him to make sure he wasn't paying attention. You wanted to use your ability. Considering the fact that he was a villian, it may have a harsher drawback.

"Tainted sorrow," you muttered under your breath, waiting for the results.

"Ah, ah, ah. Did you seriously think your ability was going to work on me? In a realm created by me? (Y/n), dear, you really need to start thinking." The villain grinned and shook his head like a disappointed parent.

Your head snapped up at the mention of your name. As far as you could remember you never told Blackout your name.

"How did you—"

"With a little bit of money and a good disguise, anyone can bribe a corrupt agency, dear," he cooed whilst a pretentious smirk crawled up on his face.
