Oh no

"Is this your job?" Ash asked while following him into a tall building. The floor was made out of marble and the walls were grey in colour. It would seem he had an aesthetic to go by.

"Of course not. Well, part of it," he said getting into an elevator. "This is one part of my job, if you're lucky, you might see the other part today." He glanced at Ash who was leaning against the wall.

Silias led him down the hallway into a huge office with black walls and a desk in the middle of the room that screamed 'rich'. He pointed towards a couch beside the desk, telling Ash to sit down as he seated himself on the chair.

"So are you going to explain to me what you do now or are you going stick with 'I'm mysterious and edgy'," Ash asked, sick of being left in the dark for so long while.

Before he could answer, the door burst open.

"Boss!" came a voice that was androgynous. Shifting a bit to see who entered, Ash was meet with the sight of a young person with rather bright hair and clothing — a direct contrast to the walls of the office.

Silias sighed before answering, "Yes?"

"I got your schedule for the day, look!" they said whilst waving a piece of paper around. Before they could continue, they shared a quick glance with Ash before addressing Silias once again.

Zoning off when the conversation between them went on, seeing as it didn't have anything to do with Ash, he glanced out the window, enjoying the view.

"You can explore the office if you want," Silias said and attended to his paper work.

"What if I try to escape?" Ash asked, looking at him.

"You can't."

Humming, Ash made his way out of the room, stretching his sore muscles. It was odd. Unlike before where he faced death almost every day, he hadn't done much these two days except sleep and eat; for some reason it felt illegal to rest.

Walking around aimlessly, Ash spotted the individual with pink and black hair that had burst into the room earlier.

"Hey! You must be boss's partner." They walked towards him with a smile, their braces visible.

Ash smiled awkwardly. "I wouldn't say that yet," he said sheepishly. Ash was definitely going kick Silias in his stupid face once he got the chance.

"Oh okay, I'm Max," they replied, to which Ash introduce himself.

Ash spent the past hour or so talking with them. Somehow, he felt himself growing fond of them almost like a sibling.

"And, that's why I bit the boss when I first met him."

Ash’s eyes widened at the statement, letting out a soft laugh. "You bit him?"

Max nodded, explaining that Silias wasn't pleased with the mark on his hand that was left for the next few days.

"Ha-ha, yes very funny," Ash heard an unamused voice say from behind him. Max gave a sheepish smile at the voice while Ash turned around to look at the newcomer.

"It most certainly is, they should have bit your face instead," Ash joked, sticking your tongue out at him just to annoy him.

Silias rolled his eyes. "Okay... okay, come with me. You wanted to know what my job was, right?" he asked. Promptly, he extended his hand towards Ash.

He glanced at it before looking back up with a blank stare, waiting for him to get the message, to which he dropped the hand with hurt pooling in his eyes. Ash simply rolled his eyes at him. After bidding Max goodbye, he followed him. Ash was led into the back of a luxurious car and he made sure to sit as far away as possible from him.

The journey wasn't a long one, maybe twenty minutes from where the both of them were. As they pulled up into another tall building, Ash looked at the villain sitting beside him.

"Model, I am a model to answer your questions. After all, someone with a lot of money and no job sounds suspicious, does it not?" Silias said breaking the silence.

Ash’s eyes widened at his answer. "Then I'm definitely not going in there. The media will murder me, plus last time I checked I was a broke college student," Ash said as he felt his legs turn into jelly. "If they find out, I'll be dragged through the mud."

"Too late for that, dear."

Ash heard the sound of cameras clicking soon after that.
