Seriously???

I am always crazy fan of songs particularly voice of the singer. If I like a particular song I will hear that particular song in music player - repeated mode, god know how many time I will hear, till my battery drain out or my ear paining like anything. That too while travelling, I will put the headset, close my eyes and hear songs in high volume, person sitting near me literally can hear the song. Navya hates travelling with me, she is not fan of hearing songs especially the song I love (she have some weird taste), so she kept looking outside while I am hearing my song.

According to me voice of the singer is life of the song, if the music is nice but the voice not good enough the song with loose its charm. There are lot of romantic songs with good lyrics and music but voice will be plain makes it fake. The singer should feel the song and sing.

The ringtone of Soha is like a treat to ears, the lyric is good, music is nice and voice is fabulous. What that stupid manager is speaking with Soha? why she is not coming to desk till now? I am desperately waiting for Soha to ask what song is that and who is the singer. After good 20 minutes Soha came will dull face. Though mind register her dullness but my mouth ask her, "Soha... your ringtone... What song is that? and Who is the singer?" I felt bad to ask the question I did instead of asking what happen inside manager's room, definitely there should be at least little fight between them. Soha never keeps her mouth shut when someone taunts her that includes our manager also, at last when she realize the fault is at her side she will apologies. I like her braveness, she never afraid of anything or anyone which is same as Navya, but I am not. I will double check whether the mistake is at my side or others and then I speak.

After I asked the question the dullness in her face fade ways which seems like trouble to me and I guess what's coming. Of course I should have thought that, how in the world I missed it, the voice must be Manik's. And as a result of question I hear good 30 minutes' stories about Manik and his greatness.

But I could not accept the voice is Manik's. As I said before the voice is so mesmerizing, I cannot believe it is Manik's. Seriously it is his voice? I regret denying Soha when she offered me to hear Manik's latest song two days back which is her ringtone now. When she said the song is Manik's, that is enough for me to deny. I can't believe its his voice still now Soha proved the song is Manik's with help of Google.

I downloaded all his songs in my iPod and started to hear.

"Hi Nandhini, When is Pongal (Also Known as Makar Sankranti,Lohri,Bihu, Hadaga) Holiday in Pune DC, Friday or Thursday?"

"I don't know Navya"

"Nandhini, you are Navya's friend. Don't be irresponsible."

Navya is crazy follower of Indian holiday system, if you want when is leave on 2020 on month of January, without even thinking she will say the day and reason of the holiday. In college we used call her holiday encyclopaedia and calendar.

"What Nandhini, any problem?"

"Had any fight again with your darling" Navya used to tease by calling my manager as darling.

"Navya, No problem. Why are dragging that idiot now"

"Your voice seems you are disturbed"

"It is just; I was thinking about..."

I told about Soha's ring tone and Manik's voice.

"What is your problem in that?"

"I cannot believe that voice is Manik's"

"Google confirmed what she said right? Then it must be true"

"I am not saying Soha is saying bogus"

"You have heard any of his other songs?"

"No this is the first song, I am hearing and I downloaded all his song. That voice is so mesmerising, it can make you forget all your worry. But I don't know why, I cannot accept it is his voice. The name Manik can easily irritate me and spoil my happy mood, but his voice does the opposite. So contradictory"

"What, Are you crazy"

"Let me complete my sentence, you started to fall for his voice."

I don't know what to reply, I cannot deny that what she told about his voice that I totally love it. I diverted the topic to Pongal Holidays shopping. There are lot in my list like her love for Ranbir Kapoor, shopping plans which I used to change the topic from our current conversation. Though Navya knows my trick, she can't do anything but played along in it.

After she cut the call, I continued to listen to Manik's song again. When I listens to one of the song 'significant other', I felt so much connected to the song.

Manik's voice made that song more real, it is like Manik he meant each and every word of the song he sang. I don't know why but I feel that this song must be a special one for Manik. I searched lyrics writer of the song, I cannot find. Most of the song sang by were written by Dhruv, one of the member of Fab5. I set the song Significant other as my ringtone.

Next day unfortunately Soha heard my ringtone and she started her saga of THE MANIK MALHOTRA.

"Soha please stop." I accept his voice good sorry magical but what Soha mostly used to talk about how hot is he, how is eyes nose etc. mostly about his physique not about his voice. This is irritating me so much.
