Where did I drop this thing, Desewa said digging into

her handbag for the third time I thought I brought it

from the shop I need to fix this dress before

tomorrow, she picked up her phone to dial

Blessing one of her apprentice.

Hello blessing, how are you? I'm fine, do you

know if I packed the pearls for blue dress I cut today

I've looked everywhere for it, no ma you left the

studio in angrily I can't remember you taking any

pearls, thought I could finish the dress tonight, alright

I can't believe I didn't take those thing what was I

thinking, that reminds me I need to call my brother.

Big bro! how are you doing? tired, exhausted and

hungry but I'm fine, this one you called me today

what's going on do you need anything, Simade her

brother said jokingly, you never pick if I call,

even if you pick either you're about to enter the

operating room or with a patient or something else

and you never call back wasn't even expecting you to

Man is hungry what's for dinner? she said walking

towards the kitchen why didn't I buy take out I can't

start cooking now I'll just take cereal no I can't take cereal

for dinner, I'll go with this, she said carrying the tray

of apple on the kitchen counter, she washed it took a

small knife and left the kitchen.

Let's get something done, she whispered to herself,

she picked up her macbook to design a wedding dress.

Her phone started ringing, who's calling me at this

time of the night, she said as she reached out to get

her phone "hello" this is Desewa, who I'm I on to? this

is Xavier, I dropped by your studio earlier, yes I

remember Mrs Martin's son right? yes, okay how

may I help you, I'm just going to go straight to the

point I was thinking if we could hangout

sometime, I was mesmerized by your beauty when I

saw you today I'm sorry if I'm to forward, it's alright,

can we see tomorrow to talk better, uhm I'm always

very busy, I can come over to your shop if you don't

what in the world was that, she said to herself .

She heard a knock on the front door, who's there? it's

me, Kemi said, I thought you said you ain't sleeping

over, she said as she opened the door, I changed my

mind, how was your date? it was a disaster, he just

kept on talking about his work and himself he's so

boring and he's not my type, he's not your type?

Desewa asked laughing, it's not funny, I can't keep

turning guys down like you do, at my age I don't have

a stable relationship, you can laugh at me if you like

but I'll keep trying till I find my prince charming, she

said smiling, speaking of prince charming, the client I

was suppose to meet today, she couldn't make it so she

asked her son to drop the fabric.

When I saw this guy I was speechless, he kept on

starring at me, he called an hour ago and said we

should hangout and he will like to see me tomorrow,

she said smiling sheepishly, are you kidding me" that's

great Sewa really great, I think I should stop chasing

guys I should let them chase me, you're making me

laugh Kemi, I don't know if I'm gonna like him, cause

he came to me doesn't mean he's the right one, let me

see his picture, Kemi said, I don't have it let me check

him on Instagram, she grabbed her phone, look" oh

my God! Sewa he's really handsome, he's hot and rich

and hot and rich, babe this is it he looks really cool,

Kemi said happily, he is definitely rich, Sewa said, he

actually is and I'm sure it's not his father's money,

how do you know that? Sewa asked, he doesn't look

like someone that feeds on their parents money, don't

let this one go baby girl, what else does a girl want

and you're growing old I need a goddaughter or

godson, I'm not that old calm down, I don't know him

that well what if he's a serial killer? she said laughing,

away, she said jokingly, I'm off to bed.

said standing up, you know I'll definitely wake you,

good night anyway, Sewa said closing her laptop. She

went to her room, kicked off her slippers

and laid on the bed.

She picked her phone to call her sister, hey baby, did you just get

home? Sorry I didn't call earlier had to sort somethings out first,

why are you still up? I'm binge watching a movie series, almost

done with it though, I can't remember the last time I sat to

watch a movie talk less of binge watching, sis you need to get a

life too not just making a living do your have time for yourself,

I'm trying I'll take a break soon, is everything okay with you?

Sewa asked, I'm very fine I can't wait to see you, I can't wait to

see you too, have a good night, she said and hung up.
