Toshio watched as his friend started changing. His teeth grew sharper, eyes turning red, tail getting bushy, then his body and fur both grew thicker. He went from the fox that Toshio knew, to some type of monster fox. 


When Lux finished changing, he leapt at Toshio and tried biting him. Toshio activated his Scale Hands ability and grabbed Lux's jaw, keeping it from reaching him 


"Get a hold of yourself Lux!" Toshio shouted. "This isn't you!" 


But his words weren't reaching Lux as he kept trying to bite him. Toshio had just gone through the fight with Lavont, so his body still hasn't had time to recover, and it almost allowed Lux to bite him a few times. Whenever Lux tried to bite or leap at Toshio, he sidestepped out of the way and kept shouting at Lux. 


“I won’t fight you, Lux!” Toshio shouted. “But I can’t leave you like this!”
