For the next few days the group continued their trip to Tusk. Every day in the afternoon Toshio would work on his daily quest to increase his strength and agility. On the fourth day a light fog had started that day and got thicker in the afternoon. So the group had to slow their pace when they couldn't see past thirty feet in the fog.
"Anyone else having trouble with this fog?" Nagishi asked out loud.
"It's like we're trying to walk through a cloud." Elisa replied, then swung a knife at the fog. "Any thicker and we'll be able to cut it."
"We should wait until it goes away." Toshio suggested to the others. "It'll be dangerous if we keep traveling like this."
"But that’s what makes this fun.” Zarele replied as she kept walking. “Besides, we have to hurry if we want to make it to Tusk before the tournament starts.”
Zarele then ducked under a branch that she was about to walk into. Toshio and the others shrugged and followed after her.
