Elisa approached Zarele and Nagishi, who were both waiting around the corner. Zarele was pacing back and forth with a worried look on her face, while Nagishi was sitting with his back against a wall and fidgeting with a device that he was working on. Nagishi told her about how Adleth would eliminate them if Toshio couldn’t prove himself and Zarele take it well. 


“She can't do that to us, right?” Zarele said as she chewed on her thumbnail. “There's no way that she has the authority to execute people outside of any courthouse. Is she really part of some type of law keepers?” 


“I don't know. That's just what she told us.” Nagishi said as he continued tinkering. “Even if she isn't, I don't know if we could or should fight back? Something about that woman gives me the creeps.” 


Then they both noticed Elisa approaching Princess in her arms. Nagishi quickly stashed what he was working on and hopped to his feet.
