"How's your mom? I bet she misses you a lot." Chris said whilst I was getting ready to book an appointment for Baby the little puppy. I needed to get baby his vaccination as soon as possible because he lived with me under the same roof and I definitely don't need any of Baby's germs, it was my responsibility to keep him healthy. 


"She is used to us being apart so I don't think the word miss is ever in her vocabulary." I said. 


He scratched his head, looking like he regretted what he just said and asked about my mother but I think he looked so cute that I wanted to give him a hug. 


I smiled, "Do you want to come with me today? I'm going to the vet then we're gonna go and buy some souvenirs for you to bring home." I said. 


He nodded, "I'm gonna come back.. you know." He said and I couldn't be more happier when I heard him say that. It felt like I was winning a lottery. 


But, did I hear it correctly or was I being delusional?
