Hundreds of years after the destruction of Dietrich's home planet; his efforts to restore power and peace to the universe through the guidance of his father, Emperor Sargon have been successful. Earendil rolled to his side but was pulled back suddenly, making him open his eyes. The cabin lights nearly blinding him in the process, his body was slowly rolled to the centre of the bed and his head lifted onto of pillows. He could see Malian first as she pulled him into a hug, he felt her warmth and the pounding of her two hearts while they went pitter-pat. Luthien made eyes at Earendil before turning her attention to buffering her knife, turning it over several times in her hand. 


Malian released Earendil when the doorknob started to turn, pushing him behind her quickly. Luthien took a seat beside Malian. A purple alien rushed through the entryway of the guest quadrant with a tray of food, followed by two other aliens and an alliance guard.
