Ellie
Have you ever felt the moment when you’re just going to explode any second now and you don’t know how to stop it? That is what I’m exactly feeling right now.
“I—what?” Austin looks at me in questionable look and I don’t know what words should I come up next.
“I don’t think—erm—I am, you know—that.” I said stuttering. I couldn’t keep my mind straight and I couldn’t even say anything that I wanted to say.
“You mean no?” I couldn’t figure out what look is on his face right now because it seems like he was somehow disappointed and it was mixed with like he does not even care.
“Yeah, I mean, we’re frenemies, I don’t know exactly what to feel.” I say nonchalantly but deep inside I was like a ticking time bomb.
“Okay.” He says.
“Okay.” I said back, awkwardly.
“So should we get started then?” He changes the topic as he places the plates that we used when we ate in the tray, “I don’t want to keep you here all night.”
