Saul watched as he drove pass many humans and elephants battling it out. The elephants refused to go down without a fight! Those fowl things wanted to continue on living! He made sure to hit as many as possible with his car. He cackled as a little boy elephant flipped over his windshield. Blood streamed down it and the boy's mother screamed. He speed off though, he had to kill The Elephant King!

He saw some places burning, he watched as the humans were being burned alive! He could not help them......yet! He would be sure to later! He watched as the humans within the store were caught in an explosion. The flames licking at them! They moaned and he pitied them. They should have listened to Saul sooner! Saul could have helped them sooner! But no one believed Saul! No one listened to Saul! His wife's beautiful face came to his mind.

Sue's flowing auburn hair, her golden eyes, her soft smile. All of them taunting him! The elephant her had tried to seduce him, she even stated that she wanted to breed! The hideous creature had taken on the appearance of his wonderful wife! The creature wanted to make more of them! She had cried and tried to make him think it was Sue, but he knew!

He remembered each stab he had done to her, every plunge of the blade into her flesh. The tears streamed down his wife's face, even though it wasn't her anymore. Those tears haunted him! She had screamed for help, he was happy none had came in time for her. That hideous Elephant deserved death!

He would honor his wife's true memory forever!

He gritted his teeth and swerved to hit another elephant. Yes, it will be over soon! Take out the leader, then work your way down. And the President was the leader! He would go first, then the rest shall follow! He laughed aloud at the thoughts going on in his mind.

“Sue! Baby, we will take down the Elephants once and for all! Then.......then I will join you in the afterlife! We will win this time!” He exclaimed with another laugh as he touched the doll Sue.

The car picked up speed as he raced down the freeway. He soon came across a road block though. The elephants had put it there! Many cars had pilled up, there was no one around. He couldn't make it through though! He groaned and reversed, deciding to go for a detour.

The yellow car went back the way it came, then down a ramp. He was mad. Those damn Elephants were always trying to throttle his plans! He was making his way through the roads, finding another way out of his city. He had noticed that a lot of the noise was starting to die down. He was wondering who had won? Humans? Elephants?! Who?!?!?!?!?

Speeding down the way, he saw a street full of the Humans! They had survived! For now, at least. He grinned and speed up more. He would take care of the tops for them! He would help free them!

“Feast well my brothers! We shall take back over soon!” Saul shouted as he speed past them all.

Many of the humans turned and watched him, they all stumbled along. He knew that they must be hurt and exhausted, but he was on a schedule now! He could not stop to help. He promised them that he would be able to help when he got back, then he went on his way. “Sue, baby! We can do this! The humans are winning, so we have to do this! I love you my sweet! Those damn Elephants will pay for what they did to you! They will pay!” He growled out as he finally found a way out of his city. He would soon leave California behind!

Stephan, Carmen and Lisa just stared at her. Lexi shook her head and ordered them to bring her maps. She counted their families as dead already. Her and Carmen's father was with them outside, he was taken down. Their mother had died from a burglary years ago. Lisa had ran away from home years ago and never spoke about or to her family. “Phan, do you have any family?” She asked him.

“No, I inherited this shop from my grandfather. He was all I had.” He replied, she nodded at this. He seemed capable enough and she was glad they found him. They packed a few more guns and she made sure everyone had 2 on them. Soon, they were pouring over maps, trying to figure out where to go.

“We should leave the city, they could bomb us or something, right?” Lisa asked in a shaky voice.

“I agree with leaving the city. They won't bomb us though. That kind of thing would happen if it was JUST this city, however, this is worldwide.” Lexi told her. After their dad was taken down, they hid by a kiosk. It had a radio on and that was said. It mentioned safe zones but that was a bad idea in her book.

“OK. What about food and water? And where would we go once we leave?” Carmen asked while examining the map. She was now tracing different exits of the city.

“Should we go to a store for supplies?” Phan asked with his accent more prominent then before.

“We do need some, but the stores would be the most dangerous place. As well as the roads. Other people may attack as well.” Lexi mumbled as she was looking at the other maps that showed surrounding areas. There was a small camping ground that was isolated, she circled it on the map. “This here, it is about 15 miles outside the city and is a cottage, isolated from the others by a good distance. It would have the amenities we would need and is far enough that we should be able to make a barrier around it. We can also grow food eventually and it has a pond. What do you think?” She stated then asked them. She looked up and they were all looking at her, mouths agape. “What?”

“You are a genius! I had been looking at places that were at the edge of town, and you found that! It sounds awesome.” Carmen answered while smiling at her younger sister proudly.

“It also has fish. That will be the best source of meat.” Phan mentioned, he was glad these 3 found him.

“That's a bit north, we could try and hit a smaller farmers market or something for seeds.” Lisa added.

“Yeah, Lisa, find places that will have tents, canned food, seeds, fishing supplies, fire kits, survival things in general. Carmen, look and try to memorize all the routes to the place we can take. Either by car or foot. Also write them down. Stephan, is there any other weapons you have here that you would suggest taking? And maybe some silencers?” She ordered them around. Lexi wasn't sure how she became Miss. Boss, but no one else attempted and someone had to step up!

“Yeah, we have some silencers here. There is also a few books on guns that we should take, just in case..... There are snipers and a few blunt weapons around here, they should come with.” He mentioned as he wracked his mind for more things to take.

“Ok, make a list and then I will help you get everything together. We can't get anything too heavy as we are traveling on foot at this time.” She reminded them all. They agreed and set to work. They were more than happy to let her lead, and the fact that they now had a goal was good for morale. While the rest worked, Lexi pulled out duffel bags and checked the doors to make sure none were unlocked.
