A Plan?

Stephanie's Pov

I'm in my bed, sitting and thinking. I saw my sister Geli running through her room earlier. I saw Dad too, his face was no emotion and he's sipping a cup of tea. I wonder if something happened between the two of them?

BROOOOMMM!!!

Suddenly, I heard a noise. I think its a car that stopped? I stood up on my bed and took a peak outside on my window. It was really a car, and that car was so priceless! The priceless car stopped infront of our gate. I saw a man in a black suit and black pants get down from the driver's seat. He walk through the backseat's door and open it. There was a man and a lady whose in a dressed, they're rich! I crumpled my forehead when I saw my dad came out and shook hands with the man and the lady. What is going on here? If its about his business, they would probably meet in my Dad's office not here in the house.

Dad escort the two of them inside the house. I run outside my room and took a peak on them on the ground floor.

“Please, make three cup of tea for us! Bring it on the library room!” I heard my Dad ordered on our maid. The maid nod and immediately run through the kitchen.

Dad and his colluegues went to the left way. They would talk on the library room.

“I..think I should listen.”

I went down and follow them quitely. I lean on the door and position my ear when they entered the room and Dad closed the door.

“So... Did you agree on our proposal?” I heard the lady asked.

“Hhmm... What makes you think about that anyway? May I know the reason first?” I heard my Dad's voice.

Hhmm... I thought it was a very special meeting, I think its not. I lift up my head and about to walk away.

“Our sone wants to get marry, and he mention the name of your daughter he wants to marry.” My eyes widened and I was stunned by what I heard. I stop walking and position my ear back to the door.

“What is this all about, Dad?”

“Oh really? Is your son one of the friends of my daughter?” I heard my Dad's voice once again.

“Actually, we don't know. We are too busy in running the business and we can't watch over him. But he said they were quiet close.” I heard a man's voice. I'm its not Dad so its the other man.

I heard some footsteps and I think it will go in here. I turn my head and saw our maid with the three cup of tea that Dad ordered her.

“Miss Steph—” I covered her mouth when she saw me and about make a noise of calling my name.

“Ssshhh... I'm listening to them.” I whispered on her and she quickly respond with a nod.

I ordered her to enter in the room and don't tell Dad that I'm here even if he ask her.

She enter in the room while I hid behind the door.

“Are you talking to someone in there?” I heard my Dad asked. I'm sure he's asking our maid.

“No, Sir. Its just me, sorry if I disturb you.” I sigh in relief when I heard it to the maid.

“Well then, you can go now. Its alright. Don't let my daughters come in here, specially Geli.” Dad told her.

“Y-Yes, Sir!”

I heard the maids footsteps and she's going out now. The maid already close the door and look at me.

“Your father said...”

“No, its ok. I'll just listen to them, I won't disturb them, don't worry.” I said.

“But your father ordered me—”

“Please, this is for a future of someone. I won't disturb them.. I promise!” I even raised and open my right palm as a promise.

“Alright!” She sigh.

“Ok, thank you.” I said and she turn around and walk away.

“Hhmm... Ok. So when did you plan to arrange their marriage?” I heard my Dad's voice. I widened my eyes as I heard the word ‘arrange marriage’.

“We have a trip on Paris next week and we'll be needing to stay in there for 2 years, our son already knew about it. Its for business anyway, but we don't want to missed the special occassion so maybe after our trip. Let's just intoduce the both of them to each other as a fiance for now.” I was completely shock by what I am hearing right now. Is this for real? Dad is not like that!

“Well....... Then...let's make it a deal.” I gasp when I heard Dad say that.

“By the way, Is your daughter Geli is here today? I want to see her in person. I want to see my future daughter in-law.” So they are planning to arrange a marriage of my sister Geli?! Noooo!!!

I thought it was me! How wicked! I really thought it was me..... If its me, I could marry a super rich man. Maybe he's handsome and hot... Ooohh... I could buy whatever I want, I could go wherever country I'd like to go. But so sad its not me!

Geli will be very mad! She don't want anyone to decide for her life. I know that Geli won't like this so I have to warn her— or maybe.... I could get some help from Red?! That's right, Red can help to her a lot!

“Sure” Dad said.

I heard their footsteps coming this way so I quickly run away.

I rush outside and call our driver.

“Stephanie!” I stop when I heard my Dad's voice calling my name.

I slowly turn to him.

“Where are you going?” He asked.

I swallow my saliva first before I speak.

“I'm going to mall, Dad. I'm meeting my friends there.” I tried to smile.

“Hahahahaha.... My dear, daughter. You don't have to lie on me. I know that you heard our conversations.” I widened my eyes and my heart beats so fast.

“What are you saying, Dad? I don't know what you're talking...about.” I lowered my voice as I bowed my head.

“You can't fool me, Stephanie.” Dad said as his expression change into serious.

“Dad, what you were doing...its wrong! Its very wrong! You can't control her life! You know that Geli is mad at you and she will hate you forever because of that!” I can't help myself and I raised my voice on my own father.

I tried to calm myself while Dad was just staring at me.

“I knew you would go in sister's side. Go to your room now! You can't go anywhere!” He raised his voice too that made me shock.

My mother came out and approach me. She tap my back and look at Dad with a questioning look.

“What are you doing to our daughter?” Mom said.

“Gail, please bring Stephanie to her room, she's not going anywhere. Go in the library room after you send her, we have to talk.” Dad ordered mom then he turn around and walk back inside the house.

“Stephanie, let's go.” Mom escort me inside the house and to my room.

“Mom, but I need to go!” I tried to beg my mother to let me out.

“Oh my dear, you know that I love your father. And I can't say no to him. He knows the best for you, just obey him, ok?”

I rolled my eyes and enter my room. I sat on my bed with my arms are crossed and watch my mom to close the door.

“Why are you so smart, Dad?!”

I don't hear any footsteps anymore. I walk quietly through the door. I grab the door knob and twist it. I crumple my forehead when the door didn't open.

“What's happening?”

I twisted it again and again.

“Why aren't this opening!!!!!!! Urrrggghhh!!!!!!!”

I just went back to my bed with an anger movement. I think I need some fresh air. I stood up and walk closer to my window.

“Why is this happening?”

No matter what happen... I have to tell Red and tell him that he need to protect my sister. But how am I suppose to do that?

Wait! I look outside from my window. I also look at my window. The answer right here, infront of me. And it just fit on my size! But its a little bit high from here. How can I escape from here?

I walk back and forth near my window while holding my head.

“Think, Stephanie! Think! Think!!!!”

I look around my room and for a rope or something that I can use to get down.

Luckily, I saw a rope above my closet. I quickly run to get it. I stretch it first to make sure that this rope can lift me...and it does! Sure it does.

I tied the rope in the iron near the window that looks like a handrail. And now I am trying to get down faster. This is so hard! But for my sister! I can do this!

When I am near on the ground I jump and fell on with my butt first.

“Ouch!”

I look at my hand and spotted a little wound but it really hurts. I have no time for this. I just realize that I fell near a window and I was surprised when I suddenly heard my Dad's voice talking with someone.

I immediately hide on the bush.

“Can I see the wedding gown?” I heard my mother's voice.

Mother is in on this too?!

“Oh sure. But can I see my future daughter in-law first?” I heard a voice of another woman.

“Sure. This way, please.” My Dad's voice said.

I heard their footsteps are getting away. I took a peak on them and when they finally arrived I immediately run away outside the house. The guard even look at me and block my way.

“Step aside.” I ordered him.

“Your father said you can't go anywhere.” It said to me.

I push him as hard as I can and I quickly run away.

I am far from the house now. But how can I go in Red's house?

I reach my phone from my pocket and dial a number.

“Hello? Can you pick me here?”

BEEP! BEEP!

I turn my head to see who it is. It was JJ riding on his car, I also saw Dondria at the backseat.

“Get in!” JJ shouted as he wave his hand on me. I nod as I approach their car and open the door of the front seat. I get in and put my seatbelt on.

“What happened?” Dondria asked me.

“No time for explanation now. Let's go in Red's house.” I said as I catch my breath.

“Ok then...let's go!” Said JJ as he start to drive.

My sister's future can not be dictate by someone like you, Dad!

Recently, I always obeying your orders on me. But now, I will fight against you if you force my sister to do what she don't want to do! I love my sister and this is my way to protect her!
