Chapter 85 - Unfinished Business?

Invaded by nightmares, sleep lost its usual comfort. At the dead of the night, Diamant had awoken from another nightmare of been trapped in a cage. Her heart was racing and she felt covered in sweat. Her deep cuts had long healed much faster than the doctor had predicted and she could move easily to wherever she wanted. She raced out of bed with greater desperation, intent at finding something that could help her with her escape.

This time she tried to be calm, ensuring that she noticed every little detail about the walls. It was agonizing because sometimes she found something that stood out and thought that it mattered only to realize, after so many twists and turns, that it didn't. When she was about to give up, thinking that any other thing she found would materialise into nothing like her past attempts, her hand slipped on something and suddenly the walls rumbled. She jumped back in fear watching the bricks move position and a part of the wall slide opened up.
