They galloped more and more but nothing happened. 


The gates closed with a thud but Malik kept charging forward. While he yelled "Stall them!" to Aliyah. 


They had hit a roadblock now. More warriors on horses joined the ones running against them. 


Soon, Natty noticed something. There were fewer numbers of lit arrows and the arrows kept getting fewer. 


"Seth." Malik smiled to himself, his hands tight on the reins of the two horses. 


Some of the warriors who had joined those chasing after them, started attacking warriors with their swords. The gates also started pulling open once again. All the warriors at the gate tower had been taken down and forced to pull the gates open. 


Drako came down to meet a whole commotion, warriors fighting against each other and the ones at the gate tower. 


He moved through the fight quickly in search of the escapes, while Goben and the rest of the warriors that had come down with them joined the fight.
