He kept on thinking like this till he stepped out of the palace gates into the noisily and busty village outside. 


There was music, decorative lights and fireworks in the sky. 


Wasn't it supposed to have started once the bell struck midnight? 


They must have enquired some problems at that time for them to just be starting it now. 


Fireworks were beautiful. Those were few of the things that he really fancied. 


They way they lit up the dark sky with brilliant colours. The sound that echoed after them. 


He consider those sounds as the scars that they carried, and the beautiful thing they resulted to in the sky, as a reward of the pain they had to go through. Lighting up the sky for that few moments, making many happy even when they knew that after the pain that built them, allowing themselves to explode like that, meant they now only had a short time to live.
