Chapter Nine

Denise was furious. I mean how could she? He was a complete stranger. That's one reason she didn't get along with her mom, no common sense. She might as well have invited Jack the Ripper over, basically it was the same thing, she knew nothing about him. As the smaller children left the room, Johnny stayed close at her side. He could probably sense the tension.

She sat with John on the couch leaving their drinks melting and untouched across the room. "Ok John, what was that?"

Looking at her puzzled he asked. "What was what?"

She didn't expect anything else from him. "That was fucking weird. A vacuum demonstration, I mean, come on."

"I don't know, he seemed cool."

"That was lame. I have a feeling he's not gone."

"What do you mean, he left."

"Ya, for now."

John looked confused.

"Trust me Johnny I just have this feeling. Especially today, it has been fucking strange."
