Lydia's POV
It was Sunday and Blake and I were in his room, doing our project. Thank god that he was paying attention. "Okay, so you need to write all this shit here and I will write the stuff in this paper and then we can stick both of them on the chart paper." He said.
I nodded and took the color papers from his hand and started writing all the information about the project. I took a glance at Blake, he looked so hot when he was focused.
"Stop looking at me." He grumbled and I quickly looked away. As soon as we were done with the project Blake screamed a 'finally' and took the chart paper and kept it on his desk.
"Okay then. I will leave now." I said and got up. "No." He said hurriedly and my heart skipped a beat. He cleared his throat. "I mean that you could stay if you want to. Alessa must be coming back." He said and looked at his shoes, scratching his neck.
As if on the cue Alessa entered with Julia behind her. "Where were both of you?" Blake asked them. "No hi or hello Blakey." Julia asked and Blake rolled his eyes at her.
"We were at the ice cream parlor." Alessa said. I looked at her and smacked her arm. "You traitor. How could you go without me?!" I yelled and asked and pointed an accusing finger at them.
"Aye! It's not our fault that you has a project." Alessa said while rubbing her arm. "I want an ice cream too!" I groaned and stomped my foot.
"I will buy you one." Blake said and we all looked at him. "Yes?" I asked. "Yeah. I mean we both had projects and you want an ice cream so I will but both of us one. Be ready at evening. Now, excuse me."
Blake headed to the washroom. Julia and Alessa were looking at me as if I had grown two heads. "What?" I asked. "We need to have a talk."
***
We were currently seated on the bed of Alessa's room, doors locked. "What is up with Blake and you?" Julia asked and narrowed her eyes at me.
"Nothing is up." I said and rolled my eyes at them. Yes, I had feelings for him but it wasn't like we were ever going to happen. And it was the truth. He would choose blonde and all good looking girls over me. Anytime.
"We have eyes. We can see things. Blake has never done that. What he does for you. Like he is literally taking you to an ice cream parlour because we didn't take you. He never does that for any girl. I think you both have feelings for eachother. Tell me Lydia. Tell me the truth." Alessa said.
I bit my lip. I mean Alessa is my bestfriend and Jules is my twin. I love them both to death and I can't lie to them.
"Okay. I think I do have a crush on him." I confessed and both of them squealed. "But before you both get all excited, you both should know that me and Blake have no future."
"Lydia, Blake does things for you. And I have seen you both staring at eachother. You guys can have a future. One of you need to take a step to make your relationship work." Julia said.
"You know I do-" I was cut off because of the knock on the door. "Lydia, Alessa and Julia. Are you all in there?" Nate's voice rang in the room.
"Yes!" Julia screamed and went to open the door. "Hey." Nate said when he saw Julia. She smiled back at him and hey both stared at eachother until he broke he stare and asked us all to come downstairs for lunch.
We headed downstairs. Mr and Mrs. Parker were seated at the table already. We all greeted them and then sat on the table. Blake wasn't present.
"Where's Blake?" I asked everyone. "Must be coming downstairs." River said and Blake entered the room. He sat on the chair empty next to me.
"Where were you Blake? You should be punctual at everything." Mr.Parker scolded. I stifled a laugh when Blake groaned softly. "Yes, Blake. Start being punctual." Mrs.Parker said.
It was really funny to see an arrogant guy like Blake getting scoldings. I couldn't help but laugh a little to which everyone joined me.
Blake gave me a glare. I grinned at him and we all started eating our meal. The food was as usual delicious. When we were done, Blake asked me to come with him for ice cream.
I went to him when I was ready. "Where are we going?" I asked him. "To the parlor nearby. It's at walking distance so we will be walking there." He mumbled and removed his phone and started scrolling through I don't know what.
I took a deep breath. Am I that boring that he has to use his phone as a distraction? Of course. He doesn't like me. He would obviously ignore me. We walked a little further for minutes while I got bored.
I took another breath. "Are you doing yoga or what?" He asked. I looked at him, confused. "Excuse me?"
"You are exhaling too loudly. It's annoying." He said. I rolled my eyes at him. "You are annoying." I said. He kept his phone in pocket.
"Am I now?" He asked and moved a little towards me. I narrowed my eyes at him. "Yes. You are annoying and rude." I said and stomped my foot like a child.
"And why is that?" He asked. "First you be all sweet and bring me for ice cream and then ignore me." I said and looked away from him. I started walking faster.
"Oi! Wait." Blake said and jogged to me. "I am not ignoring you." He said. I was about to argue back but we reached to the parlor. Blake ordered me chocolate and mint ice cream and himself chocolate cookie dough one.
I am surprised that he knows that I like choco mint.
I have him a silent treatment and ate my ice cream. He tried making conversation but I blocked him out. I was actually doing it for fun. To get on his nerves.
It was good to see him try. When I was finished I wiped my hands with tissue. We were walking in the park while eating the ice cream.
"I cant believe I am being ignored by a girl." He muttered. "There is a first time for everything." I said with a smirk. He rolled his eyes at me. "Now you talk." He said.
I grinned at him. We started talking about some random things until we started fighting on the topic about who is better- Betty or Veronica from the Archie comics.
"Betty is better. Even in Riverdale." I said with a huff. "Veronica is hotter in both- Archie comics and Riverdale." He said. I rolled my eyes at him.
"Asshole."
"Looser." He bit back.
"Idiot."
"Bitch."
"You are going to die today!"
I yelled and started running after him.
