There she is

That very night he had a dream of her where he was chasing her as she ran in wild green forest laughing while turning back to look at him in short intervals to know that he was following her. He felt his heart thudding whilst he ran behind her. He liked this game. His all being became alive, it started feeling emotions upon having her seen for first time in his life. It was as if his dream was trying to convey something to him. It was all new to him.

Only one question kept barging in his mind.

Who was she?

But he knew for sure that whoever she was, she was something to him. The loud barking of his alarm woke him up from his dream. That dream that seemed so ethereal. Getting up he went back to the balcony hoping to see her again in the bright sunlight. Standing in the balcony he waited for few moments without getting any clue of her.

He was getting late for work. Getting in the shower he shrugged off his t-shirt and track. Turning the tap he let the shower on. Keeping both the hands on the glass wall he closed his eyes as the picture of herself drenched in rain flashed in his mind. He smiled remembering how cheerfully she danced in the rain. It was something he would never have done if he was in rain. He liked the weather but just to witness it not to drench in it. But looking at her made him do that too.

She felt so alive to him. So real. So lively. But soon those thoughts were replaced as he thought about her being a mortal. It was useless as she would too die one day. He didn't knew her and he couldn't forecast there future together. It was better to forget about her as it would cause him pain at the end. Getting out of the shower he got ready for office. Plucking his iPhone from charging he saw three missed calls of Abie with one text message which stated..

Abie

8:30 am

Hey dude, just wanted to inform you that you have to be in office early as you have to interview a personal assistant for yourself as the one you had scurried away and you have a lunch meeting with vice president of Clarks. See you at the office.

Yeah! he thought sarcastically. Now once again he would have to go through the process of selecting a personal assistant. He hated it that how his personal assistant leave, resign or run away. Just because of his tight schedule and the work load that came with it. It was not that he paid any less that a hefty annual package. Still they ran away because they complained for not having any time for themselves. It irritated him as that’s what they were being paid for. Stupid peoples.

Grabbing his apple juice and salmon sandwich he went to his car. As usual his driver greeted him while he sat in his car. As it came to his knowledge about interview his day was half ruined. This was thrice in one year. Reaching the office building he dusted his hands and got of the car. Putting his iPhone in his suit pocket he entered the building. He had a personality that often-made heads turn. A reputation which would had a powerful influence on others. For everyone he was a handsome man with a dangerous aura.

Getting in his office he sat back on his chair. It was way too easy if he could just entrust this task to some of his employees but he knew that he would be much better on selecting an assistant then them as he always took a note of other factors than degrees such as style, interests which was the main topic as many women would just take this job to hit on him which was a major turn off for him. He wanted assistants for work not sex therefore he always kept this post available for both the genders and he knew that his employee would fail to take note of such interest.

He informed Abie that he was in the office and that he wanted to get done with interviewing faster as he had other things up his sleeves. One by one the individuals came in as he scribbled down the name according to their best ranks he thought best. He short listed two candidates and interestingly both of them were males. Both had marking qualifications.

"Sir one last candidate is there. Do you want to interview her or should I sent her back?" Sherry asked.

"It’s a girl?" He tusked thinking males were better in to handling him.

"Yes sir. She is late though but she insisted to let her ask you for a chance." She replied.

"Okay. No more than her." He replied knowing that he would hire one of the two males but he didn't wanted to come up as partial for not letting her a chance just for her gender. He once again reviewed the resume of the former candidate.

"May I come in?" He heard a fine voice ask him. Closing the file he replied in positive as he saw a lady like figure walk in.

At first his mind seemed to be running some random thoughts but as she neared him her scent caught his attention. It was as same as the girl he had seen last night. His heart once again started beating.

What was happening?

He quickly looked up to see a woman standing in front of him. Dressed in a pencil skirt and white shirt there she stood holding her file looking at him for the permission to sit. Her hairs where pulled back in a pony tail. Her lips adorned with nude lipstick. Her posture oozing confidence in her very stance. But he knew otherwise. He could hear her nervous thoughts which were reeling in her mind.

He dreamt of her whole night, thought of her whole morning and here she was. He couldn't name the pull he felt towards her but he knew one thing that both the males have lost their battles the moment she set her foot in his office.
