Secret

Ellie came home after Naade went. No one was present in the hall. So she too decided to call it night. Going in to her room she changed her dress in to comfy loose pajamas and T-shirt. Brushing her teeth and applying Night mask on her face she lied down on her bed. She had a light music on when she heard some noise near her. Opening her eyes she saw her aunt sitting beside her. She was startled seeing her.

"You scared me." She said to her aunt sitting up.

"Sorry for that." Her aunt apologized.

"Why are you not sleep by now?" Ellie asked her aunt.

"I actually wanted to share with you something." Her aunt said looking at her. Ellie nodded her to continue ahead.

"I have been carrying this secret from generations and I feel that now it's time that I can share it with you as you are one of us."

"I am all ears aunty continue. If it lessens your burden then tell me." Ellie encouraged the old women.

"Long back when I was young I did a mistake. A mistake of creating a creature. I created a monster who can put an end to this human if he wanted to." The old woman said looking out of window.

"What?" Ellie said not believing her.

"I am saying the truth Ellie. I created a vampire with the help of black magic. I created a baby with powers and abilities. But then I lost him because my husband was searching me and wanted to end my creation. So I gave her to an old woman and ran away from him."

"How did you gained reach to black magic?" She asked to her aunt.

"That's what I meant when I said that you are also one of us. I am a witch Ellie." She said proudly.

"Does that means I am also a witch?" Ellie asked not believing her.

"Yes you are last of our generation." Her aunt replied.

"I don't believe this." Ellie said shaking her head. This old woman has lost her brains she thought within.

Then her lit a candle lying on the table without even touching it. The music which was playing in the background suddenly started shuffling on its own. With a flick of her finger the lights shut off and with another flick it turned on. Ellie was shocked to see this. She believed the old woman now if she didn't before.

"Why are telling this to me now because even if I am a witch I don't care because I am a normal human who doesn't knows magic?" Ellie asked.

"Because I want you to help me search this monster. I need to finish him so that the danger is over once and for ever. Then I can rest forever. “she said.

"How can I help you? I don't know anything." Ellie said shrugging her shoulders.

"I need your concentration and even you will learn some magic through me." The old women suggested.

"What do you think?" She asked.

"You can't do it alone?" Ellie asked.

"I am old. Before I had access to ancestral magic but now they won't help me so I need more concentration so only you can help me." Celina added.

"There's no hurry. You can think and tell me tomorrow." The old woman said getting up and leaving her bedroom wishing her a good night.

Ellie couldn't believe that she was witch. Nonetheless she wanted to help the old woman out. She wanted human beings safe and sound. So she was ready to help her aunt locate this monster and get rid of him.

Next day.....

Ellie had left to work early in the morning and so did everyone. She met Naade as usual and they spent the day as usual. Many times Ellie thought of sharing yesterday's conversation with Naade but she restrained herself thinking that he would think of her as insane woman. Moreover she couldn't do magic to make him believe her. But all day she was lost thinking about what her aunt said to her.

'Anyways this is not going to change my life or anything.' She thought. Naade asked her why she was lost or something is bothering her or her aunt said something to her but she refused saying it's nothing.

Though Naade read something about her aunt saying her and magic but he couldn't understand it much so he didn't asked her any further.

'Probably the old lady is nuts and might have shared a review after watching something or reading something.' He thought.

He and Ellie had their lunch in his cabin. She didn't wanted to go out for lunch so they decided to eat in his office.

"What do you think about marriage?" He asked her catching her by surprise.

"Naade if you are asking this because my aunt said yesterday than please forget it." She told him seriously wanting him to forget it.

"What's wrong in it? Don't you think of marriage one day?" He asked her.

"I do but not when someone is suggesting it." She told him.

"It's on is to decide to get married not others." He commented.

"Yeah but I don't want get married just because you want to impress my aunt." She said him honestly.

"Who said I want to impress your aunt? She has an orthodox thinking. I just want to know your plans a head regarding settling down." He explained.

"Currently I am enjoying my life and having you in it is like a blessing. I don't want to complicate it by rushing things and ruining what's between us." She answered hesitantly.

"Okay I understand your point. But do know that whenever it is I am ready for it." He said to her openly. She was surprised with his statement. He was a billionaire and men of status and age as well as looks are not ready for a commitment let alone marriage but he always seems to surprise her by doing otherwise of what she thought of him and that is why she loved him. Because he was different from others.
