The Major Flaws Found in Harry Boll's Statement (Day 2)

"Still haven't figured it out?" Detective W asked in the office.

You nodded. After all, thinking wasn't your strongest point. Action was.

"No need to worry. It will take a while for you to connect the dots. I remember the first time I was a detective, I was totally clueless. Are you ready?"

You nodded. Detective W took off his black trench coat, and looked at you. "First things first, remember he said that he never saw Ahmad during his trip to Crownville? Well, that is a big fat lie."

The image of Harry on the highway with the broken car instantly flashed in your mind. "Oh, that's right! If Harry never met Ahmad that day, then why was Ahmad in his car?"

Detective W smiled heartily. "You're there! You're improving! What about the second?!"

You thought about it for a while. "Could it be... the sleeping drugs?"

"Yep. Remember how he said that he don't recall Ahmad taking any sleeping aids? Yet, in the autopsy report given to us by the pathologists, there were traces of heavy dosage of sleeping pills. Sleeping pills usually take some time to wear off... and that's where my speculation comes in. I'm not sure how it ties to the murder yet... but I think I know the method of murder..."

You didn't question Detective W on that. You said firmly, "As for the knife, I don't know what to do with it."

"Actually, I was just teasing you on that one. I will handle this piece of evidence. If I'm right... this should have the victim's bloodstain..."

"But how do you know?"

"The forensic team will conduct a luminol test on this. If there is blood on it, it will show. Then, we can compare DNA results."

"But, what if it was just fish blood? Cow blood? You know, food?"

"That, we will have to see. But, for now, good work today, my friend. You can go home for today. I still need to catch up on things."
