Chapter 138 : Keep It Down!

It took about half an hour's worth of painstakingly frustrating explanation, but in the end... Lisa still failed to understand what was trying to be explained to her. Lyte had to switch examples multiple times since he did not think the previous ones trough and Lisa had somehow managed to find a flaw in all of it. It turned out to be useless and an absolute waste of time.

As a final attempt, Lyte decided to use the most simple example that he could think of. All he could do was hoped even Lisa's young mind could understand him this time around because if she did not, he had no idea what else he could possibly do anymore. He chose to use his imaginary friend - that he just made up all for Lisa's sake - to explain to her about what she did not understand.

"So, Lisa. I actually have an imaginary friend. He's called, uh, Jack. Now, had you ever seen him before?"
