<p>Lyte heard an annoying beeping sound coming from his left. Thinking that it was an alarm clock, he slammed his hand in the location where he believed the noise was coming from but his hand hit nothing. The beeping sound continued but it was oddly increasing in frequency and in pitch. He just kept swiping towards his left a few more times but his hand hit only thin air every time. Lyte had also noticed that he could feel a small tug whenever he jerked his arm, as if it was connected to something.</p>
