Chapter 19 The Preparation of First Event

I made it home as one peace trying to get some rest for a little bit till my radio start saying about mercenaries hijacking...

(Starlight Sentinel Crime Fighting)

"...Better get to work...agh" I said weakly trying to stand up left the house transformed... "HAAAAAAA!!" I yelled charged down blasted through the mercenaries saving kids from burning buliding... "AERIAL BARRIER!!" I yelled protect few civilians from the burning buliding... "HAAAA!!" I yelled charged taking down every criminal I seen (...Come on Starlight everyone counting on you gotta keep going for them!!! Ayu...Yu... Kasumi...Shizuku...Ai and Rina...Emma... Kanata...Karin... Setsuna...I WILL ALWAYS BE THERE!!!) I thought eyes glowing yellow as I was getting swarmed by mercenaries and gangs wars backfired them all away damaged tattered clothing... "STARLIGHT NOVA ASCENSION!!!" I yelled charged firing a giant blue energy wave of wind coming out of my blade "GAAAAAHHH!!" Both groups yelled send flying away destroying their hideouts...

"Tchh...gah" I weakly spit blood out slowly limp walking the way back home... (...Come on Leonidas help me keep trying to save another) I thought noticed a family trapped in an alleyway by 5 individuals armed... (...LET ME SAVED THEM!!) I thought enraged dashed "What the?!" Gang Member A yelled got uppercut into wall knockout blocked other one crushed his fist spinkick in face crashing into window... "STARLIGHT HURRICANE!!" I yelled blasting remaining away with one swift push "GAHAHH!!" All four yelled crashed into different places as police sirens appeared "...Agh..." I said weakly trying to walk away from the scene "Hey you need medical attention!" Police Officer A yelled as I stopped him "...I will be fine officer...go help the family" I said weakly chuckled backing up continue walking away "...I..who are you??" Police Officer B asked stunned "S-Starlight Sentinel..." I said slowly flew away...

(Back Home)

I was taking a quick shower to apply some medical attention in serious areas looked at myself in the mirror then collapsed on my bed "3:45 am..." I muttered "Hey kid you alright almost time to get ready for school," Leonidas said sweatdrop "...Y-Yeah I'm alright really hmm 5:10 am..." I said sweatdrop went to put my uniform and adjusted my gloves again...

"Hello Ayumu," I said smiled "Hey Leo!" Ayumu yelled as we both entered in the train together...

(Classes as usual...)

I was barely trying to stay awake but I keep staying up with motivation...as Ayu stared at me with worry same for Yu... but I smile saying "Don't worry I'm going to be okay come on!"... "At this point, I might end up killing myself doing so many things at once with barely sleep and breaks...but doesn't matter I will help them get there with or without me," I said trying to stand preparing for club activities...

(Club Activities)

7:45 pm...

"...Leon-Senpai please take a break you been doing so much for us..." Shizuku said worried "...Hmm? oh hey Shizuku" I said holding the notebook "Break I already took it while checking on my notes," I said smiled "...But!" Shizuku yelled "...Hm??" I asked confused "That's not what she meant Leon..." Setsuna said worriedly expression "Did you took look yourself in the mirror?!" Ai yelled "I look pretty good for right now able to stand and plus I ain't sick anymore," I said sweatdrop "...Leon..." Yuu said slowly clenching her fists "...I'm going to be alright everyone nothing bad gonna happens to me" I said smiled "...Now let's continue practicing alright" I said smiled "...Right," All said trading worried expressions...

(Afterclub Practicing...)

"..." I said sweatdrop with Ayumu both in the train heading home "...Leon are you really okay?" Ayumu asked "Hmm?" I asked confused "...Don't you dare lie to me what's going on Leon?" Ayumu asked with serious expression "...I have just been having trouble getting good sleep that's all but hey look on bright side your big first event is not that far from now" I said weakly smiled "...Tch!" Ayumu yelled rammed into my arms "...A-Ayu??!" I yelled shocked expression "...Please..don't do this to me, Leo...I can't live without you" Ayumu said breaking down "...I want you to be here with me and only me till the end...So please stop whatever your doing it's killing you! it's killing us to see you like this! We were all really worried! Kasumi told us what happened and it made us all cried!" Ayumu yelled...

(...I should have known something like that would definitely break Kasumi...it was my own fault for telling her to keep it secret) I thought eyes closed with guilt expression...

"I'm...really sorry Ayumu...I shouldn't have scared all of you like that espically when we have our big event coming up" I said comforting Ayumu tightly to hug... "Ah...?" Ayumu asked confused "...I will make things better for the both of us...and to everyone in the club" I said slowly smiled "...Okay...you better..." Ayumu said worriedly...

(Leon's Mental Mindset)

"I...I can't do this anymore...I want a life of my own where it can be balanced out" I said sweatdrop "...Leon, you were born with a special gift...you can't just throw it away just because a bunch of girls say so" Scott said "...First of all, they aren't just a bunch of girls...they are people I cared about very much Scotty" I said stared down at him and others "I need to do this cause they are right I'm killing my own life trying to do both things life as hero and life as me!" I yelled "I can't continue to be like you wanted me to be...I'm sorry..." I said turned from Scott slowly walking away to the light as Scott slowly felt defeated looked down at himself fading into grey ashes along with the others... "Starlight Sentinel doesn't exist anymore...then I could be able to balance my life once again..." I said eyes closed everything flashes a dark glow then faded away...

(Present World)

Time to get some rest and relax for a bit like what Ayu and others wanted me to do...plus "I don't really need the Starlight Sentinel suit anymore..." I said throwing it into the trash can as I turned walked away...

(1 Week Later...)

I was in much better shape and well it seems the event is well right around the corner...

(Back at Clubroom)

"Hey everyone!" I yelled "LEON!!" Yu yelled "LEON-SENPAI!!" Kasumi and Shizuku yelled "Agh!!" I yelled flinched felt their hugs...

"...Ahaha...don't worry I'm in much better shape than a week ago...I really need the break looks like you all were focusing on practice a lot," I said smiled "Yeah we all got a lot better to work hard for you!" Kasumi yelled, "I'm happy to see my favorite manager..." Kanata said snuggle on my arm "...Ahaha...I missed you too Kanata-senpai" I said sweatdrop "LEOIKO!!" Ai yelled "Gah!?" I yelled flinched crashed on to ground nervously chuckled "We were so worried while you were recovering" Emma said "Well Ayumu and Yuu were the ones giving us the feedback we need" Karin said smiled "But weren't you worried to Karin" Kasumi asked confused "Y-Yeah I was but still I knew he would be alright from exhaustion" Karin said, "I knew it..." Ayumu said "Hey I'm back now and will be more careful," I said reassuring Ayumu "You better!" Ayumu yelled, "Ow ow no need to pinch me Ayu!!" I panic expression "Although I'm glad to back help all of you," I said smiled, "Rina-chan board says Happy," Rina said as I nervously chuckled ruffled her hair "Let's continue getting to work right," I said "RIGHT!!" Everyone yelled...

(Train Ride Home)

Now we are onto our official final days before the event...

"Our show is just around the corner right. It's kinda nerve-racking, isn't it?" Ayumu asked hesitated "Oh yeah this show is going to be your first performance as a school idol right??" I asked confused expression "Yeah...honestly really nervous..." Ayumu said sweatdrop eyes closed "It's going to be battle of the school idols, where only the idols who get the fan votes move on to the finals" I explained "How's practice been for you and others while I was gone?" I asked confused expression "It's been pretty difficult...but we were able to continue on and having fun learning more about the others," Ayumu said smiled "Really? I know you try too hard sometimes, so I'm a little worried I might be overworking you. If it gets too tough let me know and I'll make some adjustments" I said smiled

"Thanks! though talking like this makes me glad that we are in the same club" Ayumu said smiled "Wow now I think about it this is actually the first time we been in the same club" I said confused expression "Yeah, we never talk as much about ever working into a club" Ayumu said nervously chuckled "Damn I guess we didn't really almost everything together eh?" I asked confused expression "..." Ayumu said nothing looked other way hesitated as I was thinking for a bit... "Then I'm pretty glad we joined up in the school idol club! Although coming together in the same school as a well big misunderstanding..." I said nervously ruffled my hair a little "...Misunderstanding???" Ayumu asked shocked "...Well, I kinda was supposed to go different school but ended up here" I said nervously chuckled "Oh...yeah I see what you mean Leo..." Ayumu said sweatdrop "I just started doing this school idol stuff, so I'll try my hardest to learn all I can! Please teach me everything you know!" Ayumu yelled, "Well I don't know much either but hey I'll do my best as well to make the first show success!" I yelled "Yeah!" Ayumu yelled (I'm sure this was the right decision...giving up my good abilities since it been taking a huge damn toll off my entire body...but with my life back on track...I know Ayu would be a great school idol and will blow the fans away!!) I thought sweatdrop eyes closed adjusted my glasses...
