Chapter 33 The Golden Opportunity!!
(The Waiting Room)
(Leon POV)
After all of the live shows for us, we decide to head to the waiting room watching from the backdoor monitor act after act of every new different school trying so hard to complete their own dreams as well... The main stage at the school idol festival is where everyone who is a school idol wants to perform upon... Soon the final votes are about to approach us...However, that same shadow spirit bastard is also keeping high tails after me... I didn't see him yet earlier but I got a bad feeling...
"I wonder if they will be announcing the finalists already?" Ayumu asked concerned "I'm so nervous," Shizuku said hesitated "I hope I can make it to the finals this time!" Karin yelled, "Does standing in the finals stage feel any different than performing on the preliminaries stage?" Rina asked, "What do you think when you're the finalist Setsuna?" Emma asked confused "Well...I thought it felt quite different. It felt like everyone has high expectations out of you" Setsuna said sweatdrop "Was the pressure too much?" Ai asked concerned "Nope! Right Shizuku?" Setsuna asked "That's right it feels more like a gentle push," Shizuku said smiled "Really? I wanna stand on a stage like that!" Ai yelled "Me too. My costume fits perfectly in place, I'm ready for the finals!" Kasumi yelled "Hey everyone looks like they announcing the finalists right now," I said "Really?? I'm fired up!" Ai yelled "Really that was fast," Yu said ruffled Leonidas fur "Hmm," Barry said confused observing everyone...
"You all cast your votes for the school idols that stole your hearts? In no particular order here other than ten finalists..." Host said
The first one was none of us so far...
"Hey, that's okay maybe nine other Nijigasaki Idols will be the pick?" I asked spoke too soon as the second one was also not one of us... "Oh," I said sweatdrop "So at least one of us qualify," Emma said third one is also no "Make that two," Setsuna said as we all are getting anxious...

Six... "H-Hey it's okay better than late right?" I asked

"Leon...we tried our best it's not looking really good for us," Setsuna said concerned "No it's not over yet Setsuna," I said as we all patiently waiting for the last one to be called...

We need a miracle if this ever gonna work...with at least one finalist could be anyone...
"Tenth is someone from Nijigasaki High...is" Host started "EHHHH???!" All yelled shocked expression "O-One of us qualified??" Shizuku asked shocked "H-Huh sorry I was getting sleepy" Kanata said "This is no time for naps," Karin said while the board showed "AYUMU UEHARA!!" Host yelled "Wh-Wh-WHAAAAT???!!" Ayumu yelled "AYUMUUUUU!!" Yuu yelled hugging her from behind "Ayu! I'm so proud of you to look at the turnabout the people loved you!!" I yelled amazed "Congrats try your best Ayumu!" Rina yelled "Congratulations Ayumu! You deserve it for all the hard work you put into it!!" Shizuku yelled, "I'm frustrated with myself it wasn't me but congrats Ayumu!" Kasumi yelled "You did it Ayubun!! I can't wait to see your amazing performance!!" Ai yelled "Congrats Ayumu. I may have lost but next time I won't lose! Please put up a wonderful performance!" Setsuna yelled, "Congrats it's all about you!" Karin yelled "I'm so disappointed in myself but happy you won though! I wish you luck!" Kanata yelled "Congrats! Here take some water before you head out there. Stay calm and try your best!!" Emma yelled "M-My heart is racing. I'm trembling with excitement. Watch and see what I can do!!" Ayumu yelled, "Heh we are all so proud of you Ayumu stay calm and we are with you till the end!" I yelled

"That's was an amazing effort formed from all of you! all ten of you are stars!! But as far you all know only one of you would earn the opportunity for your school to perform alongside U's and Aqours on the main stage of the School Idol Festival!!" Host yelled "They are announcing the results now...come on," I said "Come on Ayumu," Yu said "The winner of the finals and are going to the main stage is..." Host said "Ayu...Ayu...Ayuu" I said chanting quietly as we all looked at the screen the silence and moment we all are waiting for... "Ayumu Uehara from Nijigasaki High School! Congratulations!!!" Host yelled "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHYEAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSS!! WE ARE GOING TO THE SCHOOL IDOL FESTIVAL!!! AAHH!!" I yelled "AYUMUUUU YESSSS!!!" Yuu yelled, "SHE DID ITTT!!" Leonidas yelled as the others were mind blown by what just undertake before them...
"NO WAYY!!" Setsuna yelled shocked "C-Come on let's go see her!" Kanata yelled "RIGHTTT!!" Everyone yelled...
Ayumu got the ticket from host waved at the audience then gasped when we were on the sidelines waiting for her...
"E-Everyone," Ayumu said nervously "YOU DID IT AYU!!" I yelled "AYUMUU!!" Yuu and Leonidas yelled, "I-It feels so surreal, I can't believe I won the event...no-WE won the event!!" Ayumu yelled "We did it Nijigasaki...We really won it!" I yelled "YAAYY!!" Everyone yelled as Barry smiled from distance...
I was really proud of everyone's good effort today and we achieved one of our goals till as much we are excited (I still feel like something not right here or someone still watching over us) I thought serious expression...
"So the main stage festival...we are actually able to stand with..." Ayumu said, "With the U's?" Rina asked confused "And the Aqours as well," Shizuku said "I know it's not a dream...but it almost feels like one," Emma said, "Emma want me to pinch your cheek then?" Karin asked "What?!" Emma yelled (How you hanging?) Leonidas thought (Oh Leonidas I'm pretty good now...) I thought smiled "No pinch me! S-Someone, P-Please PINCH ME!! THANK YOU SO MUCH AYUMU!! I LOVE YOU!!" Setsuna yelled "W-Whoa! Setsuna, hang in there!" Ayumu yelled panic expression "Here, I'll fan you with my favorite towel!" Kasumi yelled (....) Leonidas and I thought but smiled "Oh I was so shocked that I fall asleep!" Kanata yelled "I think that's what we called fainting," Ai said sweatdrop "Well as I say before congrats to Ayu and everyone else for the amazing performances! Soon you will be able to join with the U's and Aqours at the main stage, Let's show them that charm of Nijigasaki solo school idols!" I yelled "YEAHH!!" Everyone yelled cheered having a good time...
(Odaiba, Downtown)
It was very fun even though I didn't see that weird stranger show up I guess he had only tension with me I would want to think...everyone already headed home I just went off to get something from the grocery store...
I was bored after coming right out with nothing to do then saw a newspaper
"Where's Starlight Sentinel?! 80% Crime rates increase past month..." the headline says as I slowly start feeling guilty in a little bit...
"HELP THERE'S BURNING HOUSE HERE!!" Passerby A yelled "What?!" I yelled shocked looked up at the burning buliding "Is there anyone in there??" I asked, "Someone says there's a little girl trapped on the second floor!" Passerby B yelled "...!" I yelled rushed in "Hey kid!" Firefighter A yelled as I already rushed ahead...
I know I don't or my abilities aren't working just because Starlight is gone...doesn't mean Leon Winchester is...!
