Chapter 24

As I entered my room and locked the door behind me I finally let all the tears spill and I just break down. I don't like this...I never liked crying...crying just shows weakness.

"Z? Are you ok in there?" I heard rin ask "Why do you care?" I asked "because you're my sister." she responded "sure I am." I said sarcastically "just please talk to me." she said "why? So you can scream at me again?" I said "no, I wanted to say sorry abo-" I cut her off by saying "just GO AWAY!"...this is what happens whenever I cry I push people away even though we all know that I need them. I walked to my bed and grabbed one of my pillows then screamed into it after I finished the pillowcase was soaked in tears. That night I cried myself to sleep again....I have a feeling this is how I'm going to sleep every day.

When I woke up the next day I had the worst headache "Zen zen? Are you alright?" I heard ben ten ask "Go away." I said "Please let me in." he replied "can't you understand what go away mean?" asked "no and I really need to tell you something, please let me in." he said. I let out a groan and stood up to open the door "Spill." I said "So I went out with this girl last week and she had these amazing blue eyes. It's like.." he stopped at the sight of me sobbing "YOU ARE HERE TO TALK ABOUT A GIRL WITH BLUE FUCKING EYES YET YOU DONT ASK WHY I CRIED MY SELF TO SLEEP LAST NIGHT! GET OUT!!" I shouted "why did you cry last night?" he asked "I didn't answer your calls for a whole day...yet you don't ask why?" I said "sorry I didn't think it was that important." he responded "YOU! YOU ARE A FUCKING JERK AND GET OUT OF MY ROOM, MY HOUSE, AND MY LIFE!" I shouted "if you say so." he stood up and left, after he left I made sure he locked the door and grabbed my phone.

I decided to call Gabe "hey stranger." I said as soon as he answered

"Stranger?" he asked

"Can you be a stranger for today and let me spill everything I'm feeling right now?"

"Hi, stranger."

"I feel like my family doesn't like me anymore, or like I feel like I'm not part of their family anymore. It's painful and like everything somehow hurts and I can't stop crying like a kid. I just want someone to hold me tightly and tell me how much they appreciate me." I cried through the phone

"Well I dont know who to continue this stranger thing so do you want me to come over today and just hug you or do you want advice on your problem?" he asked

"Can I come over instead?"

"I'll send you my address."

I ended the call and started to get changed after I changed I took an empty backpack and packed 2 sets of clothes one so if I decide to stay there for the night and the second was for an extra. Not long after I ended the call I received the message:

"Hey, sorry after you ended the call I wanted to make sure all my schedule was cleared so I took quite a while but here's my address."

After the message, he shared an attachment on how to get there from my house to his. I somehow was able to get out of the house without anyone noticing.

I knocked on his bedroom door twice before he opened it, "How did you get in?" he asked, "your mom let me in." I answered "oh and you know she was my mom how?" he questioned, "because if she was your maid or something she wouldn't be in your family picture." I replied "get in and ill grab some snacks, while I do that choose a movie you wanna watch the Netflix is on." he said, I did as I was told so when he can back he saw me just sitting on his bed with my eyes fixated in the tv. "You started the movie without me?" he whined "calm down it barely even started yet," I said, he kinda closed the door then set down a tray filled with snacks on his table before he jumped on the bed.

"So what are we watching?" he asked, "not gonna lie I just decided to choose a random number yeah." I responded "oh….THAT IS SO SMART!" he exclaimed, "whatever now shut up and let me watch the movie." I said. As the movie comes to an end I heard someone snore a little, when I turn around I saw Gabe was fast asleep "I guess you hated the movie huh?" I said and giggled o myself, I covered him with the blanket that was wrapped around me earlier then I heard the door open "You must be his girlfriend huh?" his mom asked, "oh no we're not dating he's just my close friends." I said giving Gabe a glance before I smile at his mom "if you say so darling." she smiled and walked away.

I looked at my phone and saw a few missed calls and texts from my sister:

I'm worried about you z.

Missed a call from my dearest sister

Dearest sister:

Look I'm sorry for not asking your side of the story but just please come back and explain to me everything. I'll listen this time, I promise

4 missed calls from mother

Mother:

Hey, darling, I'm getting worried please tell me where you are.

Mother:

Why are you even outside? Didn't I ground you?

Mother:

Just come home please or at least tell rin or me where you are.
