Chapter 1

Matilda's POV

"Wake up Matilda!" Mom yelled from downstairs. She have always been my alarm and I really don't like it. She wakes me up before my own alarm wake me up.

"I'm up," I mumbled and turned to the other side. Wrong move. The sun rays were so damn blinding causing me to groan and get out of bed. I walked to the bathroom and peed before getting in the shower and setting the temperature then waited for the water to heat me up. It's relaxing. I got out after thirty minutes and brushed my teeth before taking the towel and drying myself up. I walked back to my room and picked my undergarments from the drawers. They weren't matching but who cares. I walked to my closet and picked white shirt with dirty pink tami jeans. I put on my white Nike sneakers and put my hair in a ponytail. I took my empty bag and took my phone from the charger. I walked out of my room and knocked on George's door. I heard a faint come in and I opened the door before walking in. He was in his closet. Didn't know what to wear.

"Hey Tilly," he poked his head out and I rolled my eyes. Who calls their sisters Tilly.

"Hey Geo," I greeted back and he groaned.

"Can you help me look for a shirt?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Of course cry baby," I said in a mocking voice but walked into his closet anyway. It was huge. But not bigger than mine just half the size of mine. I picked him the white sleeved button up shirt and gave it to him.

"Thank you mommy," he mocked back and put it on. He also took his bag and gave it to me.

"I need some stuff," I said and he looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I ran back to his closet and took his gray hood and one button up shirt and put them in my bag. I have always wanted his hood. It's just so comfy.

"That's stealing bro," he said and I rolled my eyes.

"It's borrowing dude," I said and closed my bag before walking to the door.

"You are never gonna bring them back," he stated and I threw his bag at him. He caught it with one hand.

"Correct," I said walking downstairs.

"Why do you need them anyway?" he asked and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm wearing a white shirt. We both know what is gonna happen when I'm new at school," I said and he rolled his eyes. The four previous schools we went at, someone would pour water on me and claim it to be a mistake. We walked downstairs and found mom setting the table.

"Morning," George said behind me and mom turned to us.

"Morning babies," mom greeted back and walked towards me. She started fixing my shirt.

"Food," George said and walked to the table. I groaned and mom chuckled before letting me go and walking back to the table to plate food for grandma. I went to the table and started eating. Me and George were the foodies of the house. But we never get fat. I wonder why. We always eat junk food. That's how we keep our day going.

"Done!" We yelled in unison and mom entered the kitchen with an empty plate too. I think it's from last night since granny didn't eat with us last night.

"Are you guys ready?" Mom asked and we nodded. We walked outside and mom was on the phone and I'm guessing with a client. I ran to the car and climbed shotgun. I saw George roll his eyes and went to the backseat. Mom climbed in and started the car.

"I won't be able to pick you kids up after school so you'll have to walk," she said and I sighed. We drove in silence to our new school. Mom stopped the car and I looked outside. Our new school was huge. Probably five floors if not seven. I got out of the car and waited as mom gave George a necklace to hide his scent and shit. He came out while putting it on and walked with me to the entrance.

We went to pick our schedules and started to compare. He got three classes with me. History, English and chemistry. I rolled my eyes as we walked our separate ways. People were giving me odd looks but I chose to ignore them. I walked to my locker and put my pin and threw the shirt and hood in there. I closed it and locked it before looking at my schedule. I have religion for the first hour. My favourite. Room E108. Where could it be. I don't want to get lost on my first day. I started walking around looking for room E108.

Okay. I think I'm lost. Great. I'm in floor H. I started going back but got more lost.

"Excuse me," I called out to the janitor and he turned to me.

"What?" He asked rudely turning to me. He looked to be on his late thirties or something.

"Can you please tell me where room E108 is?" I asked and he gasped.

"Did you just say please?" He asked and I made a confused face.

"Uh... yeah?" I said and he smiled showing his almost yellow teeth.

"It's upstairs. Take this stairs then turn left. Pass those lockers and walk like you are heading to the bathroom then turn left walk straight then the red door is your room," he said and I tried repeating it in my head. Once I got it I turned to him with a smile.

"Thank you," he gasped again and I walked off. He is weird, I mean who gets shocked only because someone said please and thank you. I walked to the stairs and went up. This is so confusing. Where is George when you need him. I walked a little further and turned left. There were still kids in the halls. I saw a girl standing by her locker so I walked towards her since I forgot the directions already.

"Hello," I smiled at her and she looked at me before looking back at the floor.

"Hi," she whispered that I almost didn't hear her.

"Can you please show me to room E108?" I asked and she nodded. We started walking in silence. She was looking at the floor and not looking up at all. Weird right?

"This is it," she said lowly and I looked at the door. It really was the red door.

"Thank you..." I was waiting for her name. She looked around before looking back at me.

"Melanie," she said and I nodded.

"Thank you Mel," I said and she walked away. I walked inside the class and it was not a class. It looked spiritual. It was dark. The bell rang and the teacher walked in. He looked to be in his early fifties.

"Settle down class," he said and people started taking their spots. I had nowhere to go so I walked to the back. Only fifteen if not twenty learners were in here.

"To those who doesn't know me, I'm Mr. Millers," he said and the class went quiet. I nodded my head and the girl next to me was on her phone.

"Can you please turn it off?" I whispered and she looked up at me before rolling her eyes. I really don't like anyone disrespecting the spirits. I feel like they're insulting me too.

"Whatever," she turned it off and looked forward.

"Today we will be all in meditation forms. Now I want all of you to sit your meditation positions and get comfortable," he said and I heard a few groans. I rolled my eyes and sat in lotus position then closed my eyes.

"Find your inner peace and focus on just that. You can feel your wolf get comfy and feeling free," so I am in here with wolves, no wonder why they're so rude. I could feel the stares of the class but ignored them as I closed my eyes.

I opened my eyes and I was not fifteen anymore. I was twenty five instead. I was in the olden years and definitely not on Earth. People were fighting everywhere.

"Look over there. It's an Earthbender!" Someone yelled and I looked to the direction.

"Let's get her!" another voice yelled and people started running towards me. I brought my hands together and started mumbling things Greek. I don't talk Greek. When I opened my eyes they were lighting blue in colour. I raised my hands and brought them to my attackers and they fell down. It started raining and I started controlling the thunder to hit the opposite people. I could feel myself get wet in reality but couldn't get up.

"Don't kill her. She is the last Earthbender and if you kill her she will be reborn again," one of them said and I went to turn to the man but I was stabbed and blood started spilling out if my mouth. I fell to the ground and my body started turning into dust.

"We have to find the reborn one and kill her," that's what I heard before my body disappeared into the dust.

The bell rang but I couldn't get back. All I could see was black and my family's faces passed. I first saw grandpa in his human form and the ghost form. I saw how he met with grandma. I saw grandma and him getting married and give birth to mom and her sister. Her sister died in the accident and mom was in a coma. They couldnt find mom's sister's body. Mom tried to kill herself but grandma stopped her.

"Tilly open your eyes," I heard George say. I wanted to but I couldn't. It was like my eyes were glued together.

"Baby. Wake up," now it was grandma. My eyes started getting watery when I saw my reborn self in granny's farm. She looked so young then and I wasn't crying. I was just sitting there and laughing at nothing in particular. She picked me up and went with me to the hospital.

"We found her. Kill her!" Was all I heard before I opened my eyes. I was floating on air. I slowly started to go lower and George hugged me.

"I thought I told you to stop meditating," he scolded me and I hugged him back.

"Sorry," I said and he let go of me.

"I had to call grandma. You didn't want to wake up even when I poured a bowl of water on you," he said and I looked at myself. I was wet and my pink bra was starting to show itself off. He handed me his hood and I rolled my eyes.

"How did you get it?" I asked and he chuckled.

"Mom's day? My day? Granny's day? Your day?" He asked and I laughed putting the hood on. He pulled me out of the religion class and picked my bag up for me. He had my religion books in his hands. I rolled my eyes when he placed them in his bag instead of mine. He pulled me to H416. English. He pulled me to the back seats and pulled a chair for me.  I sat down and he placed my bag on my lap.

"I'll be back," he said and left. He started talking to the hot guy in the front and I scoffed. I took his button up shirt and walked out of the class. There was a bathroom towards my left so I went there. I started by taking off my hood then my shirt and used it to dry my hair. I put on my brother's shirt and the hood on top. I looked at the mirror and found my reflection smiling at me. This is not real. I rubbed my eyes and looked back. The reflection was years older than me.

"Don't be scared," it said and my eyes went wide.

"What... who are you?" I asked shakily and she chuckled.

"The person who bought to earth and gave you unwanted powers like you got," she said and then it hit me. She is my mother.

"Are you also dead?" I asked and she smiled at me.

"No," she said and I nodded.

"Why did you give me away?" I asked out of the blue and she chuckled.

"I didn't give you away. The reason why I gave you to Mrs. José was because the hunters wanted you dead. You may not know this but your aunts are planning on getting you back," she said and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"My aunts?" I asked and she nodded.

"Yes of course. Selene and Chang'e. You see them always in your dreams. They have been planning your life from when you were born," she said and I got more confused.

"And what is your name?" I asked and she chuckled.

"I am Diana. The goddess of Love and creation," she said and I nodded.

"And who is my father?" I asked and another reflection of male appeared next to Diana.

"Hello Matilda," the man said and I smiled.

"Hi," I said and he smiled. He had greenish eyes while Diana had blueish eyes. So that's where I got the colour of my eyes.

"You are more beautiful than I remember. How is your life on earth?" he asked and I smiled again.

"My life is well sir," he laughed along with Diana and I was confused as to what was the joke.

"Call me Mani or dad," he said and I nodded. Never calling him dad.

"It was nice to meet my parents but I have to get to class," I said and they nodded.

"Bless you my child," they said in unison and I smiled. I walked to the bin and threw away my wet shirt. I walked to the door and only saw my reflection now. Thank God. I walked to my class and found it in progress. When I opened the door all eyes turned to me.

"Good morning sir," I greeted the teacher and he smiled.

"Hello," he greeted back and I walked to the back of the class. There was a a person on my chair. He was cute and good looking if you asked me. He didn't belong on earth he belonged on the sky.

"Sorry," I said and took my bag before going to sit with Melanie. She smiled at me and looked at the teacher. I was only in here for fifteen minutes but the bell rang anyway. I stood up and started to walk to the door but someone held my elbow. I turned around and it was George.

"Here," he handed me English books.

"They are yours?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I got it all covered. They are yours," he said putting them in my hands. He pulled me to the door with his friend following closely behind.

"Thanks?" I mumbled as he pulled me to my locker. He opened it for me and told me to put my books and I did. He closed it and pulled me to the cafeteria.

"We are heading to lunch and you will be sitting with us," he said and I nodded but he still pulled me to his table. It was full of other guys. They all turned to look at me when we sat down.

"Hey guys," one of the guys said. He had blonde hair with grass green eyes.

"Hey dude. This is George and this is his sister..." he was waiting for me to give my name.

"Matilda," George said and I nodded. He pulled a chair for me and I sat down while he sat next to me.

"Matilda this is Liam," the guy we walked in with said and I looked at him. He was introducing me to the guy with blonde hair.

"And you are?" I asked and George looked at me in shock.

"I'm Andrew. On your left is Hank. Next to him is Justin and here is Mason. In the middle of Mason and Liam is Michael," he said and I looked at the guys.

"Are you guys werewolves or humans?" I asked and they looked at George who was not focusing on the table but on his phone.

"We are werewolves," Liam said ad I nodded.

"What is the name of your pack?" I asked again and they looked at Andrew.

"Silver Creek Pack," he answered and I nodded.

"I have never heard of it," I said my thoughts out loud and Justin gasped. What's wrong with these people and gasping. I rolled my eyes and stole George's fries. It's not like he'll notice anyway. They're amazing if I should say. He really got the taste in food but none in women. The boys started talking amongst themselves while Andrew stared at me. If only he was my boyfriend I would have been so damn lucky.

"Do you guys wanna hangout today after school?" Mason asked and the boys nodded.

"Sure. You coming Tilly?" George asked and I shook my head.

"I have practice with granny and grandpa," I said and he shook his head.

"You and grams are crazy. Grandpa died five years ago. Ghosts aren't real," he said and I shrugged.

"Still. I'll be practicing with them both while you are stuck with your no fun friends," I said and he chuckled.

"You wish. But of course Marilyn," he said and I rolled my eyes. The guys were looking at us with interest. My mouth went wide knowing he never use my middle name cause I hate it. Kill me.

"Do you want your friends to know your middle name?" I threatened and he shook his head and gave me two twenty notes.
