Chapter 5

Matilda's POV

When I got home later that day, I decided to meditate. Granny was worried about me and so was grandpa. Granny ran out of the house to grandpa and I was left with the boys but chose to ignore them.

"You have more than one thousand powers in you," Mani said after I had asked him about his supernatural strength.

"So I have all those powers in me?" I asked getting all excited.

"Yes. And more," Mani said and I was eager to know them even though I'll have to get up before the boys get worried.

"Tell me ten of them," I said excitedly. Both Mani and Diana chuckled at my enthusiasm.

"Storm, strength, protection of mankind, hallowing, fire, floods, earthquakes, you can control clouds with your feelings, life, death,," he said and I nodded.

"What was my name in my past life?" I asked and they looked at each other before smiling at me.

"Matilda your full name was Nyx Anymone Ismene. You were known as Goddess Nyx," Diana said and I nodded my head. That explains why the crazy lady was calling me Nyx.

"What if I'm being attacked? How do I activate the powers?" I asked they laughed at me. Again.

"You don't activate nor do you deactivate your powers. If you practice them once, then they're in you. You just have to keep track on how you apply one," Mani said and I nodded.

"Wow. That's a lot to take in. So when do I practice?" I asked and he smiled before answering.

"On your next meditation. Make sure it will be over eight to twelve hours, I will be taking you to meet your family and people who will be helping you practice or train." Diana said and I nodded.

"I will surely make it. Can I ask a question?"

"Of course dear," Diana said stroking my cheek.

"Who is the crazy lady and why did she strangle me? Why do I have two enemy mates? Why and how do I bring them together? Why did you leave the..." Diana stopped me before Mani bust out laughing.

"One question at a time," she said before giggling.

"The crazy lady was Goddess Serene. She strangled you because she feels like you were disrespecting her when you ran away from your mate and when you kept it a secret," Mani said and I sighed.

"Why would she feel like that when it's my life?" I asked and he sighed before looking at Diana.

"She is my sister and is the one who is guarding the wolves. That's why you will have to decide who lives and who dies," Diana said and I got more confused.

"Who lives and who dies?" I asked and she nodded before Mani described everything.

"When you reject your mate, their wolves can't fight through the heartbreak so they end up giving up. If their wolves fight or they are lucky to get a woman who loves them just as much as a mate would then they would survive. But if they don't then they die," he said and I nodded my head.

"Why do I have two mates that are enemies?" I asked still confused as hell.

"Serene made a mistake. She wasn't supposed to mate you to anyone. If it's like that then you'll have to die right after giving birth in order to come to your original world," she said and I sighed.

"Can goddesses have children with earth creatures?" Mani asked and I looked at Diana the same time he did.

"She can. Hercules was born the same way, Zeus had sex with his mother. But for Nyx, it will all be in the hands of Serene," she said and I nodded.

"What if when I try to bring them together it leads to my death... how did I die in the first place and how old am I?" I asked and Mani chuckled.

"You won't die like that," He said and I rolled my eyes.

"When you died it was caused by hunters, they smelt you when you was out with Achlys. She is your father's sister. She was picking the fruits while you were doing that stuff with your hands, I don't know if it's mind control or..." Mani cut her off.

"Telekinesis," he stated and my jaw dropped. I can do that stuff?

"Yes that. They saw you and killed you before Achlys could make you invincible. In the gods years you are million years old but as an Earthbender years, you are three hundred and sixteen years. In human form you are only fifteen," Diana said and I nodded before staring at my hands.

"Pause. Rewind. Play. I have Telekinesis?" I asked and they both nodded.

"Other gods and goddesses can help you bring it back when the time is right," Mani said and I nodded happily. I have telekinesis, who wouldn't be happy?

"You should go now. You are blessed," they both said in unison before placing their hands on top of my head. I sighed as I faded into nothingness.

I opened my eyes and got off the bed before walking to the bathroom. I splashed water on my face before walking out of my room and downstairs to the kitchen. George and Liam were playing arm wrestling or is it thumb wrestling? Not sure. Andrew was leaning on the wall closing his eyes a little. I walked to Andrew and kissed his cheek. He smiled and opened his eyes. I walked to the cabinet and took out the plate before heading to the fridge and taking out the frozen pizza and placing it in the microwave. I turned around to find Andrew staring at me.

"Sorry," I whispered but he chuckled and walked towards me.. He kissed my forehead and I looked outside. It was late. I wonder where granny and mom are.

"Your mom is working a late night and your granny is spending the night with your grandpa," he said like he just read my mind and I nodded. We went to the living room and watched TV. Forgetting about my pizza.

"Did they say when they would be back?" I asked and he nodded.

"Tomorrow before five in the morning since you have some practice with granny," he said and I nodded. I could feel myself get sleepy so I leaned onto Andrew and placed my head on his lap as I fell asleep.

I woke up and I was in my bed. It was around six in the morning. I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom. I got out of the bathroom after taking a shower, brushing my teeth and combing my hair.  I went to my drawer and picked undergarments, like always, they didn't match. I went to my closet and took out my pink cropped shirt and white high waisted jeans before putting on my Nike sneakers. I took my bag and headed downstairs. Only granny was there so I walked to her and hugged her from behind. Pretty crazy if you asked.

"Hey hun," she said turning around before kissing my forehead.

"Hey granny. How are you?" I asked and she looked down before looking up to meet my eyes.

"I'm good," she said with a sigh and I raised an eyebrow.

"How was the sleepover with grandpa?" I asked and she chuckled before turning back to the stove.

"You know, you wouldn't believe that he is still so strong even after his death. Can you believe that we spent the whole night having..." i cut her off.

"Okay! Respect my ears please. When am I practicing?" I asked and she sighed looking at her watch.

"We can't today," she said before her cheeks turned pink.

"Okay. I have to get to school," I said and she turned the stove off.

"You don't have school for two weeks though," she said and I shook my head.

"I think it will be better if I went to school instead of ruling a pack where my decisions are not considered," I said and she nodded before kissing my forehead.

"I'll see you later," she said and I hugged her.

"You won't be here though," I said and she chuckled.

"I'll see you whenever I come back," she said and I nodded before walking out of the house. I started walking to the direction of the school.

I groaned when I saw the girls who I don't know but I think they like Andrew. I walked faster and passed them. One of them called me but I didn't turn, I just walked faster but they were fastest. Someone gripped my elbow and made me turn around.

"What do you want!?" I yelled at her and she gripped my elbow harder.

"Leave Andrew alone," the girl repeated and I sighed trying to get my hand out of her tight grip.

"I am not after him. I already have a mate," I said and she smirked before letting go of my elbow. I walked inside the school rubbing the elbow. Damn her. I walked to my locker and placed my bag before taking my English textbook and heading to class. Damn it's far. I got in the class and sat at the far back. The boys aren't coming to school so it's a free day off the boys.

Once the English period was over, I walked to my locker and threw the textbook in it. I was honestly expecting to see Alex here. I walked to my second hour, dance. I really hate dancing. I walked inside the class and walked straight to the locker rooms. I started changing into my dancing outfit. Black tights and white shirt. I walked back into the dance studio and waited. Normally we should all warm up but we don't even know the new teacher so we take it as the free period.

"Morning class," a familiar voice boomed and I got up and my eyes went wide. Alex is the dance teacher.

"Sorry I'm late," he said and my jaw dropped but he didn't even look at me.

"What is your name sir?" One of the girls asked and I looked at him. He looked at me before smiling and looking back at the papers in his hands.

"I'm Alpha Kalogeras," he said and I rolled my eyes.

"Stupid," I muttered to myself but it seems like the entire class heard me. I almost forgot it's a Wolf school.

"Would you like to share Ms?" He asked and the entire class turned to me.

"No sir," I said and he nodded before turning his attention back to his papers.

"That's what I thought," he said and I sighed before walking towards him.

"Can I please go out?" I asked and he raised his head to look at me before looking back at his papers.

"Reason being?" He asked and I looked out of the window.

"I need to use the bathroom," I said and he closed the papers and turned to me. I was trying to blink away my tears.

"That's not a reaso... you may go," he said and I left the studio and ran to the bathroom. I let all my tears out once I was in the bathroom. Label me a drama Queen but I thought mates weren't supposed to mock others. I'll be fine. I just have to avoid him like a plague. I wiped my face with the tissues and walked back to the class taking slow steps. I arrived and went to my polar.

"Today, each and every one of you will show me the dance you got," he said and looked at me. I looked away and saw some girls gawking at him. I rolled my eyes and paid focus on the lesson.

"Any volunteer?" He asked and looked around. The girl who told me to leave Andrew alone was the one to raise her hand.

"I will dance," she said and Alex nodded his head.

"Name?" He asked and I looked at the girl. I was also eager to know her name.

"Jane," she said and Alex nodded his head. She walked to the front and started dancing. She wasn't dancing, she was touching herself trying to look sexy.

"I've seen enough. Next. Anyone?" Alex said and looked around. His eyes landed on me and I shook my head. He nodded and looked around again.

"Can I dance sir?" A male voice came out and I looked at the source. It was a guy I met in Alex's packhouse. He was gay but cute. I would be gay too just to date him.

"Go ahead," Alex said and the boy walked to the front and started dancing. He was dancing kinda nice. He was dancing hip hop dances. Once he was done, I started clapping my hands. He smiled at me and bowed before walking to his polar.

"Matilda," Alex said and I looked at him with wide eyes.

"We don't clap hands in my class. Would you do us the honor of giving us a dance?" He asked and I looked at him with raised eyebrows. He was smirking at me.

"Can I have a partner?" I asked and saw his eyes darken before they turned to their original colour.

"No," he said and I walked closer to him. I thought I had to ignore this fool.

"Why not, sir?" I asked and he sighed before looking at the class.

"Fine. You can have your partner," he said and I looked around. My eyes landed on Hank. I didn't think he would be here today.

"I pick Hank," I said and saw Alex clench his jaw. Hank stand up and walked towards me. He held his hands out and we started to hip hop. The song was Some more by Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj. He is a great dancer. I'll give him that. The bell rang once we were done and I sighed before walking to the locker room. I started changing the outfit and putting on my original clothes. I was the last one to walk out of the lockers to find Alex seated on the chair with his head in his hands.

"Hey," I said softly and he turned to me. He smiled before getting up and walking towards me.

"Hey," he said and hugged me. I hugged back and he inhaled my hair before kissing the top of my head.

"How are you?" I asked and he sighed before pulling me to his chair. He sat down and made me sit on his lap.

"I'm sad," he said before pouting. I giggled when he kissed my neck.

"Why?" I asked and he nibbled on the spot where he'd have to mark me causing me to take in a lot of breath.

"Because you allowed that boy to touch you," he said and I rolled my eyes before placing both my palms on his cheeks.

"You made me dance and I wasn't gonna let you mock me in front of the class. You made me cry," I told him and his hold on me tightened.

"I'm sorry," my jaw dropped and I looked at him with raised eyebrows. He nodded before his lips brushed my nose.

"Don't pick me again. Please?" I begged and he nodded before holding my hand.

"Will you volunteer though?" He asked and I nodded my head.

"If I'm ready, then I will," I said and he smiled before nibbling my cheek. This guys is too much.

"You don't use make up?" He asked and I shook my head.

"You smell amazing," he said before licking my cheek.

"Eww," i whined pushing his head away. He chuckled before licking my palms too.

"You taste like... butter?" He asked my my eyes went wide. Butter? I brought my hands to my nose but didn't smell anything. I licked it and it didn't taste like butter so I looked at him. He bust out laughing causing me to hit his chest with my tiny fists that didn't affect him at all.

"You are disgusting," he laughed harder so I leaned in and licked his cheek. He stopped laughing and got serious. I stood up and started running. He was after me but wasn't using his Wolf speed. I tripped and fell but not that hard. I started laughing as he stopped in front of me. He helped me up and I sighed before walking to his table. I pushed him on his chair and climbed on top of him. His hands went to my hips as he held me in place. I leaned in and kissed him. His kisses are amazing. He pulled me closer as my hands went round his shirt. There was a knock on the door so I got off him and grabbed my back. The door was opened and in walked the principal.

"Mr... Matilda?" He asked and I looked at Alex who had a death glare on principal.

"Yes sir?"

"What can I do for you?" Alex asked the principal but he didn't answer. Just staring at me.

"I thought you weren't supposed to be at the school for two weeks?" He asked and I nodded my head.

"I thought about it and realised it was stupid," I said and he nodded before turning towards Alex.

"See me before knocking off," he said and left. I looked at Alex who had a clenched jaw.

"How old are you?" I asked and he turned to me and relaxed instantly.

"Three hundred and thirty seven," he said and got up from his chair. He walked towards me and I looked up at him. He kissed the top of my head and reached behind him, he grabbed a card and handed it to me.

"What is this?" I asked with my eyes still glued on his.

"Your pass. Go to class Lynn," he said and I hugged him and kissed his covered chest before leaving the dance studio. I walked to my history class and found it in progress. I handed the teacher my pass and walked to the back of the class. Andrew was seated there staring at me. I sighed and got seated next to him. He smiled before sniffing the air then his smile dropped.

"You were with him?" He whisper yelled and I looked at the teacher trying to ignore him. He snapped his fingers in front of my eyes and I looked at him.

"Yes I was cause he is my mate!" I whisper yelled back and his eyes went wide.
