Rosalinda head up the steps to Alistair's mansion in plaid pajamas pants and a gray cropped shirt with "The Rolling Stones" written across it, as she didn't care how Alistair saw her or her belly button one bit.

She knocked hard on the wooden doors, as she tapped her converse-covered foot impatiently, until one of his maids, the one that opened the door for her the first time, looked at her questioningly from head to toe for a moment, but then moved out of the way.

"He'll be right down, he's just-"

"Raven! I said this once and I'll say it again, get the hell out! I cannot believe you had a man in my bed again! I don't wanna hear the crap about me not spending enough time with you, when you're obviously spending enough time in my bed fucking other people!" Alistair's voice boomed through the large house, as heavy foot steps came down the steps, as quick and heeled ones followed.

"Alistair, baby! You even keep saying

how we aren't married or dating! So how could you accuse me of cheating when you won't even give me good dick! Or any for that matter!" Raven's voice screamed back, as a loud thud came down from the steps and a suitcase sliding across the floor in the foyer.

"You're right! We aren't anything and never will be! Now get the hell out before I call my security! I don't want some random man in my bed or you in it either for that matter! Now go!" He came into view, his face red and hair disheveled, as Raven came in front of him. A dark smirk growing on her face and a finger beginning to poke him in the chest.

"You can't kick me out! You need me and so does your family! Your parents want me here and since your mother has picked me for your wife, I'll be staying!" She yelled in his face, gripping his cheeks with her hand and planting and rough kiss on his lips.

Rosalinda simply stood in the foyer, beginning to tap her foot again impatiently, as she just wanted to hurry all of this up and get back home to her mother. Alistair ripped away from Raven, grabbed her wrist, and began to head for the door, but stopped once he saw Rosalinda.

"Fuck!" He screamed, stomping his foot like a child, and quickened his pace. He rushed Raven out, pushed her down the front steps, then walked back in, grabbed her suitcase, and threw it out the door.

"Now stay the hell out!" He screamed, slamming the door. He began to pant a little, as his dress shirt was wrinkled and the two top buttons were undone.

Rosalinda looked up at the man and snickered, then began to head to his office, arms folded under her bust.

"Gosh, what an interesting soap-opera it must be to watch if you live or work here..." She laughed, as Alistair's face began to turn red again, rushing over to Rosalinda and spinning her around. She jumped slightly away from his closeness as a small noise came out of her mouth in shock.

"Don't you DARE speak a word about this or even make fun of this! I don't find any of this funny or your jokes! I won't tolerate them in my house! Are we clear?!" He yelled, getting closer to her face, as Rosalinda shrunk away a little, but then blinked the fear away from her eyes, as amusement grew in them instead.

"Oh! I'm sorry! Yes! Being rich, famous, and having to deal with women flaunting all over you must be exhausting! Please! Sir! Let me pull you up a set!" Rosalinda grabbed an imaginary chair, pretending to pull it in front of him and motioned for him to sit down in it.

Her eyes hardened and got back up into Alistair's face, as he was about to yell something else, but she immediately cut him off.

"Listen here! You asked for me to be here! I simply came at the wrong time and that isn't my fault, it's actually yours!" She pointed out, shutting Alistair up quickly, as a small smirk grew on her face from this realization.

"Secondly, I just wanna get this done and over with. I have no interest talking to anyone about your business, it's too dramatic and annoying. Now, let's discuss whatever the hell it is you need to talk about and get this shit over with. My beautiful mama is waiting for me at home and I'd like to spend time with her, as I tried to tell you yesterday, but you simply blocked that out, since you're only ever worried about yourself." She poked him in the chest, then headed to his office.

Alistair simply stood there and watched the woman walk away, as he couldn't help but stare at the way her hips moved and then at what she was wearing from behind. He had to admit, the woman wearing "lazy Sunday" type clothing was quite attractive, as he hasn't really seen too many woman walk into or around his home this way. He then began to wonder how she would look in the morning, waking up, possibly in nothing else but her underwear-

"Alistair! C'mon!" Rosalinda called from upstairs in his office. His cheeks began to turn pink from his naughty thoughts, as he scrambled to his office. As he walked in, he stopped in the doorway, watching the woman with fascination. She walked up and down the bookshelves on the walls, looking at the spines and reading the back of a couple of them. She glanced over at the door, stepping back and catching his eyes on her, as she began to put a book back.

"You're more than welcome to borrow some of my books. I've read a lot of them already, but a couple of them missing won't kill me." He told her, as the woman smiled and nodded, beginning to take a couple of the ones she found interesting off the shelf.

"Well! I'll take that offer! Gives my mother something to do between four white walls!" She hummed, as Alistair's smile faded.

He then began to get a guilty feeling in his gut, as he remembered he had pulled the woman away from her dying mother at her home, so she could be here to discuss some things. He should have waited till another time, as he was wasting her time with her. But he quickly covered up his feeling when she turned back to him and smiled softly. It melted his heart a little to see such a genuine smile from a genuine person.

"Thank you for letting me borrow your books, but what am I here for anyway?" She finally asked, after getting her books, as the man sighed and began to get into his 'business mode'.

"Well, I'd like to discuss the topic of when we should open the diner back up after the renovations. See, the renovations should be done in about three months so-"

"Three months! I don't have three months and neither do my employees! Lemme tell you something-"

"I'll pay them for their little "vacation" and you, so don't stress." He cut her off, like she did him. She huffed and sat down in the chair in front of his desk, as he sat down in the one behind it.

"Anyway, as I was saying, we should put out flyers and also redecorate the layout of the menu. Then, send out little bits of it, enticing people to come in on opening day, besides just the regulars." He explained, laying out new templates of the possible future menu, as Rosalinda looked at them and sighed.

"Honestly, I don't care enough about it. I mean, as long as people can read it and understand what's in their meal, then the menu can match whatever kind of design you want." She waved it off, setting the books down in the chair beside her.

"Is that all? Cause I'd like to-"

"Wait! Also! Besides the diner, about dinner on Monday, I wanna take you somewhere nice and far, so dress formal and be ready by 5." He informed her, as the woman looked confused for a second, then recognition crossed her face, as she forgot she did agree to dinner with this man.

Sighing, she nodded and looked back up at him through thick lashes, and leaned against the desk.

"Fine. I hate trying to dress nice though..." She mumbled, lying her head on the desk a little and yawning. Alistair raised a brow at her and shook his head.

"You need sleep and a therapist to help you with it, you insomniac-being. I can't have you falling asleep now or on our date." He said, as Rosalinda's eyes widened at the word date and cheeks began to turn pink.

"D-date?" She stuttered out the question, lifting her head to look at him, as Alistair recognized the words that came out of his mouth, his cheeks turning the same shade as her's.

"W-well yes, since this is outside of business I guess you could call this more of a 'date'." He suggested, Rosalinda's cheeks darkening and her bottom lip between her teeth. She nodded and stood up, as Alistair did the same.

"Let me show you out," he told her, as she nodded and grabbed her things, and books. She began to head out, as Alistair followed along, resting his hand on the middle of her lower back.

Rosalinda's eyes widened at the small shock that grazed her spine from his touch, as it wasn't exactly an electrical shock, but something else. Alistair felt the same thing, as he opened the front door for her and looked down at her, as she turned towards him.

"So, I'll see you Monday?" She questioned, as Alistair took a small step closer, as her face was almost touching his chest, as he nodded.

"Yeah, Monday," he hummed, as they both didn't notice how close their faces were getting until their noses brushed against one another. Rosalinda snapped out of her little daze and blushed harder than earlier, as she cleared her throat and stepped down one of the steps.

"Goodbye, Alistair, enjoy the short amount of time you have without Raven." She chuckled slightly to get away from the odd situation, as the man frowned deeply from the distance and comment.

"Mmm, thanks. Goodbye." He waved slightly, closing the door and leaning against it, as he heard her feet retreat away.

He looked down at his hand, the feeling of her back and nose still lingering in his mind, as he enjoyed that shock that passed through him, as he wanted to touch her again.

He sighed at himself, as he found it annoying how attracted and interested he was into Rosalinda. It must be about how he's having such little sex these days with the new businesses falling into his lap, especially Rosalinda's.

Sure, he was making renovations with their partnerships, but he was so much more interested and fascinated with the Maltese woman and personality, rather than her diner.

She's attractive, yes, but also just so damn intriguing.
