Two

Regan stood there, watching as her brother sat in his car. She turned to see Dom's car, her worry growing. The brunette walked over to her.

"Your brother, he seems determined." She told Regan.

"That's one word you could use." The blonde replied.

"Gisele." She introduced.

"Regan."

"Are you old enough to be here?" Gisele asked.

"I'm old enough to drive, does that count?" Regan asked. Gisele smiled at the girl.

"Tension breeds competition. Your brother will be fine."

"Not if he doesn't win." Regan replied.

"Sore player?" Gisele asked.

Regan smiled and shook her head. "He'll laugh the loss off, but he's hard on himself."

"Run in the family?" She asked. Regan just shrugged.

"It'd be a shame if your brother lost. I'd like to keep you around. Would you work for Braga?" Gisele asked the girl. Regan sighed.

She shook her head at Gisele. "I'm not a fan of authority." The girl finally answered. It was true, Regan had a habit of often testing her brother.

Rae's smile faded entirely as Dom's car pulled in ahead of Brian's. Rae watched as Brian began to head towards Dom.

"At least we know you can't beat me straight up." Brian told Dom.

"Laugh it off?" Gisele smiled at Rae.

Regan followed Felix and Gisele over to the two boys. Felix clapped.

"Now that's what I call real driving." He told Dom.

"Now that's bullshit." Brian yelled.

"Go cry to your mama, huh? Or better, your sister." Felix replied.

Brian walked off towards his car, turning to Rae.

"Regan. Now." He called to his sister. She raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything as she made her way to the car. She'd barely even closed the door before Brian had started driving.

"Yo, nutsack." Dwight called.

"Oh, God." Regan mumbled.

"Let me tell you something, man. Muscle beats import every time. You know what I'm saying?  Every time!" Dwight said.

Brian drove away, a familiar look on his face as he looked out the mirror at Dwight.

"I know that look." Rae commented. "Your wheels are turning."

Brian smiled at his sister. "Dropping you at home first, and then the fun begins."

"Without me?" Rae frowned. "Ouch."

"Official business." Brian told her. She glared at him.

Regan's glasses pressed into the side of her face as she held the couch pillow close to her. She was mumbling in her sleep; small whimpers of nothingness from deep in her subconscious.

Brian smiled at his little sister. He felt guilty for what he was about to do, but not as guilty as he would feel had she missed such an event. She nudged her lightly.

"No." She whimpered simply.

"That's fair." Brian replied before nudging her again. "Regan."

She rolled over, pushing him away from her slightly.

"Rae." He called her. "Regan Lucille."

"Brian." She replied, her eyes closed. "Do you have a death wish?"

"Up for a party?" He asked her.

"Hell yeah." Before Brian could even blink, she was standing. "Five minutes."

Regan ran into her room, slipping on a pair of medium wash ripped jeans and a dark green long sleeve. She dug around in the bottom of her closet for her white converse before lightly brushing her hair. She spent at least a minute contemplating removing the glass, but ended up keeping them. It didn't look like she was going to a party, it looked like she was going to the library. She rolled her eyes, tucking the dark long sleeve into her jeans.

"Whatever." She mumbled into her mirror.

The music was loud, girls were practically naked and they were dancing on cars. A party, Brian? Suddenly, Regan's adolescence went to her head as her brother began playing pool. He stood straight, noticing Dom. He grabbed Rae by the arm to drag her along.

"That's too bad about Dwight." Brian started as he sat in the stool beside Dom. "The Feds raid your house the same night you make the team."

Rae hid her smirk, turning away from Dom to inspect the room.

"So unfortunate." Brian kept talking.

"I wish I could say I was surprised to see you here." Dom replied. "What's to stop someone from telling them you're a cop."

"Probably the same thing that's stopping me from telling them why you're really here." Brian replied. Bri was playing his cards right.

Their boss came up behind Regan, lightly setting his hand on her shoulder, asking her to scoot over. She complied and his hand ran down her back lightly. Her eyes met Dom's.

"What up, fellas?" The boss asked.

"Hey, how you doin'?" Brian replied. Dom was still looking at Rae.

"Great- you having a good time?" Boss man asked.

"Yeah, great time." Brian answered.

"Come on, let's have a better time." The boss replied to Brian.

"How's your car- took a nasty bump." The boss asked.

"It'll be ready." Brian answered. Regan followed close behind Brian.

"I also heard you just got out of county." The boss was telling Brian. Did this mean Regan had cover stories to keep up on? Was she even allowed to be here?

"Yeah?" Dom asked Brian. "You know a guy named Jim Garcia?"

"No." Brian replied. Dom didn't even bother to hide his amusement. "Big place, lots of names, lots of faces."

The boss turned back to Dom. "And you...you're wanted by a lot of people, homes."

"Yeah, that kind of heat can't be good for business." Brian commented. Rae kicked him lightly.

"Yeah, well that depends on how you look at things." Dom replied. "I go down, I do time. I do real time. I don't know about your other drivers, but when I see flashing lights in my mirror, I don't stop."

Regan smiled, which earned her a glare from her brother. He took another sip of his beer before looking over at her again, elbowing her ribs when he noticed she was still smiling.

"Do you know each other?" The boss asked.

They both hesitated. "He used to date my sister." Dom answered.

"I see." The boss replied. "You're a lucky man."

"How's that?" Brian asked.

"You're still breathing."

Regan smiled, huffing out a small laugh at her brother's face. The boss filled a shot glass, handing it to Regan. She hesitated before taking it. She felt both Brian's and Dom's eyes on her as the boss poured himself a shot.

"To the ladies we've loved and the ladies we've lost." He toasted.

The corners of Rae's smile twitched before turning down. She slowly knocked the shot back as Brian did.

"So, what's Braga about?" Brian asked.

"You know, he's just one of us. Came up from the streets, down for a barrio. Now, he's a shot caller- boss of bosses. See all these cats in here anyone of them would die for Braga."

"Including you?" Brian asked. Dom turned to face their boss.

"Especially me." He answered. Regan shared a quick glance with Dom.

A man came up behind where Rae and Brian had been sitting, leaning down to whisper into the boss's ear. Brian and Dom's gaze met each other's, soon followed by Rae's meeting Dom's once again. The three turned back to their boss.

"Enjoy the party, fellas. Club's yours. Whatever you want, booze, broads, it's all good." He told the boys as he stood. He turned to face Rae. "Enjoy the rest of your night."

Regan didn't get a chance to reply before he walked off.

"Braga's mine." Brian told Dom.

"Jesus." Rae mumbled.

"I'm taking the whole house down." Bri continued, standing.

"Good luck." Dom replied as two girls sat with him.

"Regan." Brian called.

Regan sighed, shaking her head. She weakly smiled at Dom before standing to follow her brother.

They walked down a blue hallway, music blaring in their ears. Regan stood with Brian as he waited. He was being a Fed and she was just along for the ride. Again, was she even supposed to be here?

"Stay here." Brian mumbled, making his way down the hall and through a door. She blew her hair out of her face, pushing her glasses up as she leaned back against the wall.

The hall was full of girls, some kissing each other. Regan sighed as she picked at her fingernails.

"Ordered you to tag along and ditch you?" The now familiar deep voice asked.

"What are brothers for?" Rae replied. "I'm sorry."

Dom's face hardened. Rae forced a light smile.

"He drag you everywhere?" Dom asked.

Rae nodded. "I kinda force him to. I like the chaos that follows Brian."

Dom smiled before he turned to walk away from her. She smiled again as he walked away. This smile wasn't forced.
