I ran and ran, not looking behind me, like how the selfish fathers tell they went to fetch some milk that never returns. Reaching the Capitols bordering walls, I stray to the left, diverting from the entrance of the magnificent city of towering buildings trying to keep afloat on top of a dying rock pounded by centuries, to which is dying at this point on by the injectors mighty poison killing every cell, every living organism on this very planet. Finally reaching my destination, my home atop of a big Sictorious Tree of its purple, blue leaves covering my abode from the public, I scratched the bark, and as usual, streaks of lights emits from the inside, accompanied by a gust of wind, surrounding my living body, lifting me above the ground, as if I'm flying by my means how Peter Pan soars through the help of his companion Tinker. Guiding me on the path to my home, I sway from the branches filled with thorns, known to kill whose skin may ever touch its prick. I have my ways, with every passing second, every minute I've stayed on this roof of tranquility, the more I get to know the meaning behind nature's calls, behind its secrets. I've used this knowledge to my advantage, keeping me hidden from the eyes of the Capitol is hard enough, but with nature on my back, I feel like I am invisible, 'just for now' I thought as I ponder over the I could see, "It was nice to know you, my friend."
Nothing but a measly hut, atop of a colossal tree is surely enough for me and my protection, but with this plague coming in closer and closer, I do not know how much longer I can hide from my wrongdoings in the publics tearing eyes. I sat on my make-shift balcony and breath in the pleading call of nature, to which no one would respond for they could never understand the true calling of anything other than that of power in the hierarchy. A few hundred meters from where I stood, the ever so unstoppable plague approaches, killing every living thing on its paths like the mourn of a family member who lost its beloved one, infecting people with the same despair and sadness.
Was this finally the time that our planet has been dreading for? Has our doom finally caught up to our sins and is long been overdue of its payment which is the loss of an entire species?
I am truly a fool forever thinking that the Human Race is the most powerful, but to only die from a measly poison on the lands, that would kill all living life, livestock would plunder, farming would become useless, and those who wake up to find a beautiful sunrise to gaze upon would soon be disappointed by the grey, lifeless wasteland our Earth is becoming this instance.
It's now the rise of the sun and the farewell of the moons, everyone should be out of bed by now, same as I was, looking and sadden by the scene being projected on our very eyes. Trees now lying down like somehow bowing down to a king passing through its path and would kill those who would do no such actions. Amber lifting from the ground, like the ashes of a fire phoenix when shot by a huntsman wanting to bring home a bountiful feast for its starving children. As there is no fire, yet there is amber, ashes lifting from the dying grass that was once a lush green of nature's creation.
As my tree is swaying on the borders of the wall, it was time for my home to die, as I look down at the path I've taking a while ago, which is now a scene of an old photograph, nothing but merely black and white, without a hue of any kind, the roots of my beloved tree start to rot, sap oozing from the inside trying to stop the invading plaque, but to no such avail. Creeping up to the bark, like a swarm of deadly bugs eating away any remains of food on the back alleyways of restaurants. Infecting the branches and every leaf on this tree is a mourn for another day for I need to leave this instant. Scratching the remaining untainted barks of my tree, it glows once more and hoists me above just in time as the infection scatters below my feet, killing my mother who I planted on this very land with the Sectorious seed right on her very heart to which I watched grow and grow to now be dead by an infection that I could never stop. "I miss you mother, I'm truly sorry." I looked as I hovered over my dead mothers' remaining memories.
I swayed north to the back corners of the wall where thieves, dealers, and beggars go to make business, with the remaining powers of the tree, it helped me stand on the very top of the wall, like a bird not scared of falling from a tall building for which it could fly away, but I was not a bird, nor I could fly again, for my only source of power is now dead along with the lands of this very planet. I am scared, and confused as I stood on top of the wall, on my left is the proudest city with the most powerful people resides, on my right, natures pleading call still sours the air as it slowly dies on its lands.
But then, something peculiar happens, it's about to spread through the bordering walls of the Capitol and let itself inside to ruin the creations of my leaders, but "It stopped." I whispered, trying to understand its mission on our planet. Out of nowhere, the ground starts to glow white, the very light from the explosion of the invading moon earlier who brought this poison on our Earth, blinding I shut my eyes and again, a gust of power bursts through my body and I collapsed.
