The Revelation

"But there's more to come" Fuyuki told Gin.

"Don't worry I am just getting started".

After Gin killed that monster, a huge group of monsters attacked them.

"I didn't mean to attract them!"

"Well, it can't be helped. Get ready if you are not".

Both Gin and Fuyuki charged towards the monsters and in no time killed all of them. But Fuyuki seemed concerned about something.

"That was easy. What happened Fuyuki is something wrong?" Gin asked him.

"I was wondering why so many monster are here. I have never seen such a large horde of monsters".

"Well, I don't know about that. But one thing is for sure that we have to slay them quickly or else Sachiko is going to kill us".

They continued to slay monsters till they reached a large cave covered in crystals.

"What in the world is this?" Gin was astonished.

"Even I don't know that".

"What I thought this was common I'm your world".

"Nothing every extraordinary thing is common in our world".

They both entered the cave, just a few steps ahead they saw something which looked like a giant rock. But it wasn't that. In reality it was a giant monster which had crystals all over let's body. Without wasting anytime both Gin and Fuyuki attack it. But all there attacks were a waste, the crystals covering the monster body were protecting it for their attacks.

"It's no use".

"Yeah, you are right".

Both of them understand quickly that there attacks were doing nothing but only wasting their own energy.

"What should we do now" Gin asked Fuyuki.

"I guess we should call Sachiko. As far as my knowledge goes this monster is a Omega level threat, It will be a big mistake if we decide to handle this alone".

Both of them ran out of the cave while the monster was following them.

"Gin , go and call Sachiko till then I will try to hold of this monster.

"Are you sure about this?"

"Don't worry, I'll be okay"

Gin rushed towards the town to call Sachiko as soon as he could, but till then it was Fuyuki's job to handle that monster. But suddenly just one move by the monster changed the whole situation for Fuyuki.

"So you think you can handle me alone! Brat" The monster spoke.

"No it can't be-

"Ha! Now don't be so surprised. You yourself know that monsters like me exist, but you people are afraid of us aren't you?"

Fuyuki was trembling from fear, he knew that this monster was not an Omega level but a Xi level threat. The only thing is could do is to run as far as he could from that monster. While on the other hand Gin was desperate to reach the Squad dorm and was running as fast as he could.

"I have to reach Sachiko quickly or else things will be turn really bad for Fuyuki".

Fuyuki was still not able to move. The fear of facing a Xi level threat alone was enough to freeze him.

"Don't worry I won't kill you, let your friends come here and then I will devour all of you one by one".

Gin finally reached the Squad dorm and told Sachiko about the situation.

"Understood. We'll immediately go the cave and give aid to Fuyuki, Everyone put on your gear".

Sachiko along with Gin and her squad reached at the spot. There they saw Fuyuki sitting there trembling in fear and beside him the monster was standing there waiting for them.

"What? Why isn't that monster attacking Fuyuki?".

"This isn't good" , In an instance Sachiko understood the whole situation.

The Monster then said to Sachiko,

"Aren't you the girl named 'Sachiko'. I have heard that you have killed hundreds of us, but today isn't your day cause your are going to die by my hands".

"What? How come that monster could talk? Aren't monsters supposed to just make some weird noises.

Kazan told Gin that this monster is a Xi level threat and that none of them except Sachiko could handle it.

"Okay I know she is very capable but isn't it her who said that even a squad can't handle a Xi level threat and that we should just run if we see one".

Sachiko told her squad and Gin to stay back and said she will handle this alone. Sachiko tried to go for a simple sword attack but it didn't even lay a scratch on the monster and that monster just threw her out of the way.

"Maybe you aren't as strong as I heard you are".

"Well, I guess I have no choice but to use it".

Sachiko Buried her sword in the ground and said,

"Arigakin Summoning : Gear One".

Her sword transformed in a Lance which was emitting blue aura.

"You have forced me to use this, now it's over for you".

Sachiko's speed was increased immensely Gin's eyes couldn't even keep up with the speed and he was seeing Sachiko in multiple places. Sachiko with her lance was able to damage the monster and in no time killed it.

The other members of the squad helped Fuyuki to got back to the squad dorm. In the Squad dorm Gin asked Sachiko,

"What was that power you used to kill that monster? You haven't told me the whole thing about the monsters and your world".

"It's because Commander and the other higher ups didn't want us to tell you about this. They said they can't trust a otherworld stranger with such crucial information. But now I think it's okay to tell you about this or else it can be fatal for you. First of all you should never talk about this in front of any higher ups or any other squads, Do you understand this?

"Yes! I will never talk about this in front of any of them".

"Okay , now listen. This started hundred of years ago when there was a war among two kingdoms, The Knights and The Shadow Assassins. Both of the factions were fighting for the infinite crystal and the magic scroll. Many of the people from both the sides died but it looked like the war was never ending. But then some people form both the sides who had special power which we call Arigakin , decided to stop this carnage. They found the scroll and crystal and hide them in an unknown place and spread the word that it has been destroyed. This news got to the higher ups of both the kingdoms and the decided to stop the war".

"So , how can we be sure that they really hid the scroll and crystal and not really destroyed them?".

"Because both contains so much power that it's impossible to destroy them. Now let me tell you about this Arigakin power. Arigakin power can be either in you from birth or you can obtain it, Arigakin is actually a pact between you and the soul beast which lies inside you. These beasts are actually the Xi level threat. If you have one of them inside you by birth then you can either try to make pact with it or leave it and live as a normal being. But if you don't have one of them by birth, then you can find one of them and complete their trails to make a pact with them".

"But you killed that Xi level threat with so ease. How can you do that if you have the same power as that monster".

"A human with a pact with monster is a lot stronger than a alone monster. But there's more, a pact can be improved and the grade of Arigakin can be increased. Till now three grades are known but it's speculated that some Arigakin can have a fourth grade which contains immense powers, also I think that the figure who appears in you dream is-

"my Arigakin power, Right?".

"Yes, I think so. Because what else it could be, but to make a pact is not easy and your training to make a pact will start from tommorow so be ready".
