01. Everything is gone

"Run!" Her father yelled and pushed her in front of her.

Pain. She felt pain all over her body.

They looked for secret power stones for decade and finally found one. But the problem is, she just got it and it should be useful in three days.

Unfortunately, they unintentionally got attention from fifth level zombie abbreviation.

This thing was at least ten meters high, five wide, had six arms and multitude of powers that he implemented into his body. And body itself had such high resistance that even Central Army had hard time to kill the one that attacked them few months ago.

And they had casualties in thousands.

Zombies. They evolve with time.

But this thing is not something that is evolved. It was actually created to kill zombies, but turned around and started killing the last remnants of humanity.

What an irony.

"Father..." An Na held his hand and smiled. "Father... we can't outrun him and won't be able to hide from it."

"I know. Everyone in Central City will die as it is too close to city. Your mother, your sister... everyone..." He gasped as they his behind one wall. "I wish I could kill him. But it's impossible."

She leaned her head and steadied her breath. "Father, there is only one way to save them all. Only one way."

He hugged her and started crying. "I'm sorry child, I wish I was stronger. I wish I could have protected you all. I failed."

"No. We didn't fail. With you finding this thing and us having same thought, we can save all those people out there. This is last abbreviation they couldn't kill. If we don't stop him, last safe heaven in eastern land will fall." She could fell his was hug and rubbed her face onto his arm like when she was little. "Papa, I am grateful to your love and dedication. You are best father in the world."

"An Na, my child." An Hui hugged her thin shoulders. "And I'm grateful having you and your sister. Thank you for entering my life. Let's meet again in next life.''

"I don't mind being your daughter again." She leaned her dirty and dusty head onto his shoulders and closed her eyes. "I love you all and I will muss you."

Pictures of her happy childhood started rising under her inner eyes. Even trough the Zombie Apocalypse they held onto each other and survived fairly good.

But it became apparent that only those with powers and their family have right to be in the city. They wanted to kick all commoners out because lack of food.

She snorted. "We should have left base with others. Foolish."

Her father patted her head and closed his eyes as he felt the humongous creature appearing. "That is all in past. Love you all."

Large amount of army vehicles came from the city and approached. A man sat in jeep and searched surrounding frantically.

His deep black eyes glanced at pale man next to him. "If she dies, I'll eradicate you all. Idiots. She is only one with natural resistance against the virus. Without her, human race will be extinct."

"I'm sorry. Someone have put her name on life st of people to leave the town..." Then he paled.

"What list?" Deep roar escaped his throat.

"We... we thought as food became lass to just leave power users in city and..." He chocked suddenly as he was grabbed by neck.

"Repeat that!" The man's aura bursted and just as he was about yo break his neck a voice came.

"We found them. There is problem. The abbreviation is going straight to them." Just as the sound finished the convoy stopped as the bridge was broken and as everyone rushed out, he saw a man and a woman just sitting and leaving on each other with serenity.

She won't be doing that? Right?

He started running and screaming. "An Na... An Na!!! Don't...!"

But his yell came too late, as when abbreviation reached for the two of them, bright light blinded everyone and then there was nothing else.

When someone uses their new power to self destruct, there is no such thing as big destruction or something... just nearby stuff turn into dust. The last zombie abomination is gone and An Na as well.

Suddenly everyone gasped as the young man changed. "No... we were wrong... noooo."

Screams of fear and pain diffused in darkness that slowly ate last bit of humanity. Only two red eyes could be seen, glowing in darkness.
