Follow Her Every Step

Not giving the girl a chance to reply, Lu Ye Ze turned to Butler Gu and said.

"Inform the kitchen to serve our dinner, please!"

Butler Gu looked at the man with almost puffed cheeks, then he looked at the girl. She was still in a daze, then looked at the man again, with a sorrow expression not moving from his spot.

Lu Ye Ze was astonished, this girl has completly taken over, he looked at her with a questioning look.

Jo seemed to wake up at that moment and demanded the Butler.

"Haven't you heard his command?!" Little did she knew.

"Yes Madam" Replied the Butler and left in the blink of an eye.

The two of them headed to the dining room. Lu Ye Ze pulled the head chair at the table for the girl to sit.

Jo looked at him intently and brushed passed him, taking the seat on his right.

"I don't like used things" The girl said.

Lu Ye Ze chuckled lightly and sat down in the head chair. Shortly dinner was served.

Jo, sat in her chair gazing at the man intimately. He is her kidnapper, he held her hostage here, where her life was put in danger by his maids. He also gave her a maid's uniform and locked her in a tiny little hut at the end of his garden, but for some reason she didn't fear him, she actually felt safe around him. This gorgeous man got implicated with her in such a manner, why? What was his reason. The girl wanted to ask him, but he cut in.

"Eat your dinner. Its going to get cold!"

He Mufeng was waiting in the hallway looking nervously at his watch. His Master was having an important banquet to attend tonight, where the most powerful politicians and ministers were attending, yet he was having dinner with his prisoner.

At the dining table Lu Ye Ze set aside his chopsticks and addressed the girl while using the napkin.

"Can you please excuse me, I have other businesses to attend!" The man got up from the dining table. Jo lifted her head from her plate and nodded.

Lu Ye Ze turned to leave, before he reached for the door he turned back.

"Don't change the password again, I would like to come and visit you in the future!" Then he turned and left without giving the girl a chance to reply.

Jo looked at his leaving back and exhaled deeply.

The next day Jo put on a midi white shirt dress, with a pair of flats and headed downstairs for breakfast. Besides the awkward gazes, the staff didn't create trouble for her, especially since last night, when even their master himself, acknowledged her new position. She was quite content with herself and decided that today she should test the waters deeper.

After breakfast, Jo asked the Butler to prepare the car, she wanted to go sightseeing.

Butler Gu respected her wishes and organised a car and a driver for her. At the same time he sent a text to a certain someone.

That morning, Lu Ye Ze, was in a board meeting when his phone screen flashed with a text message, he stole a glance and read.

"Madam went out" He furrowed his brows and replied instantly.

"Follow her every step!" He was glad to see that this butler knew who his true Master was.

In the Capital city Jo visited a few landmarks and the fatigue from walking around since morning caught up with her, so she decided to have lunch at an outdoor restaurant. She sat down at a table and was mulling over to go online or not. She disappeared more than two weeks ago and wondered what the situation was back in the country. After a few minutes she logged on her work gmail and read a staff email. "Miss Muller went missing". Jo opened the thread and shock took over her face, the last email said that she lost her life in a terror attack.
