Hope Is Calling and Hearts Are Breaking

"I'll see you later Oliver." Issac said as I put my spoon down. "Come on sugar." He commanded as he stood up.

"It was nice meeting you." I said quietly, trying to be polite.

"The pleasure was all mine, sweetheart." He said with a smirk. I felt heat rise to my cheeks before I turned on my heels and started to walk with Issac.

Something was off, it was to quiet, and not that comfortable silence either. No, that silence that is thick and annoying. Something wrong, I just know it.

We continued walking down a long corridor till we were faced with a shiny black wooden door. Issac quickly opened it to reveal a dimly lit room.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say this was the chamber of a vampire.

He went and sat on the bed that had burgundy sheets bestowed upon it. He patted the seat next to me and I quickly obeyed.

He took out his phone and dialed a number. I didn't look and quickly pressed the call button. It ran for a bit before someone picked up.

"Hello?" It was dad, or should I even call him that at this point?

"It's me Camila. I'd like to talk to May." I stated coldly as my face, which had been neutral, turned bitter, and full of irritability and disgust. I heard him mumble something incoherently before I heard the phone shift to someone else.

"Hello?" May's innocent voice oozed through the phone. My smile returned and it was as though my irritability was never a thing at all.

"Hey, it's Camy ya goofy goober." I said with a soft smile.

"Camy!" May squealed through the phone. Her excitement making me chuckle lightly. "I've missed you! I can't wait till we can have a tea party again! Archer can't wait to see you again! Oh I even tried to read one of your comics, and one of your books all on my own, and made it through some of it!" She said with excitement.

Archer was my sisters favorite stuffed animal. She named it after the character one of the stories we had read together.

A smile made it's way to my lips as the memory played in my head like a movie scene.

"I'm happy to hear that! I miss you too, and can't wait! Tell Archer I miss em'.-" I was going to continue but I looked up and Issac was giving me one of those 'it's about time you hung up looks'.

Maybe if I obey this time I'll be allowed to have more calls with her?

"I have to go, but I love and miss you and can't wait to see you again." I said with a small sad smile. As much as I'd love to be reunited with her, I know it would never happen.

"Okay." I heard her small voice say with a sigh. I know May, I don't like it anymore than you do... "I'll talk to you soon." She said with the smile practically visible on her small face.

"I'll talk to you as soon as possible May." I said with a small chuckle before hanging up. I looked down and put the phone laying on my hand before he grabbed it with force.

"We better get you back to your room." He stated. I nodded and followed him, not moving my gaze from the ground.

As much as it gave me hope to hear my sisters voice, it also ripped my heart into a million small pieces that can't be put together.

I walked in behind him and before I knew it he had me pinned to the wall, right where he wanted me.
